Sooner Samsung will join the party of removing the 3.5mm jack.
Just like when they join the dual camera feature and the non-removable battery.
Welcome to the party!

    I don't like the 18:9 ratio. I still prefer the 16:9 ratio.

I... moreThat's a load of bullshit, wireless audio has not exceeded the level that wired is currently at, that's why people still use high-end wired headphones. Companies will in due time adopt the wireless approach when the performance gap becomes minimal and remove the 3.5mm jack for good.

I use Bluetooth headset or speaker, they sound better than the wired headset or speaker without the restriction in movement.
Just like the way you wirelessly mirror your phone on the big screen rather than HDMI cable.
FGS we are living in a wireless world, who needs the 3.5mm jack?

Wireless charger should be great with OtterBox ultimate protection when the ports are covered with hard rubber (waiting 4free one).
You can drop the phone if you pick up while connected.
Options are good. Particularly if the replaceable back cover is like the excellent design of Note4.

No matter what specs, if the S Pen is not there, I'm not wasting money on even a budget phone like the Mate 10. Even if it has 8 GB RAM (Mate 10 has only 4 GB), with 512 GB internal (it only has 64 GB), or even if had 60MP with f/1.0, or even you can call someone as far as Pluto, I'm NOT ever going to spend even $50 on something I know won't answer my drawing and note-taking needs.

You can go on and on about how you think Mate 10 is such a wonderful device for your specs addiction fix for only $600, we Note users do not care.

The iris scanner works in pitch darkness. Infrared light is invisible light that illuminates for the iris scanner to see our iris patterns.
