Got the Note8 on the 5th... not sure how, ordered online through ATT and the next day it was at my door. So far, though 2 weeks, it has been a great phone. Well thought out design and the new features are pretty nice. First time Note buyer and I dont think I can go back.

Serious side, Note 8 is an amazing device and so does Note 5. There are a lot of hardware and software updates from the Note 5 to the Note 8, but some might find this extra new features are necessary for the upgrade. If you're an illustrator and you love to draw, upgrading a Note 8 is a great choice, the S pen is much improved in terms of accuracy and sensitivity, but if you only use the S pen to sign documents or take general notes and whatnot, Note 5's S pen still do justice.

Design wise, Note 8's screen is hands-down superb. Note 5's all glass design without the curved screen is still nice too. The only drawback to the Note 5 that's not nice is the non-expandable storage. Other than that, Note 5 is still a very solid device.
