I got this phone a week now... I thought the battery life bad but I was wrong battery life is last whole day... then if you turn the location and turn it when need it then battery last long time...I'm very happy

I got one today and claim free Dex station look nice phone and still lots to do to bring apps back on.. I got is midnight black with protect cover case.. display seem so good so will tell you later once I check all the features etc.

I will not even attempt to do any wireless charging nor fast charging - it's going to contribute to battery degradation with more heat and stress to the battery. Instead, a good power case like Zerolemon is what will keep my Note8 juiced up for the day... with NO WIRES, with very minimum side bezel, and a bit of a front lip against falls.

Other manufacturers like Mophie, Belkin will come out with their versions. I'd advise Note8 users not to even get the official wireless Samsung Backpack charger with some 3100 mAh capacity - it's a waste of money since it can only give you 50% of charge in 3 HOURS of charging time. I had the free backpack charger with the Note7 before, and after testing the charge time ONCE, I sold it right away.

I can charge it wirelessly, no need to bring bulky extra batteries.
No need to drain the battery, just charge it when it goes down to 60% remaining anytime anywhere. I got fast wireless chargers at home, in car and in the office.

Got note 8 since 15th, omg how beautiful it is an what a device.. to be honest was expecting it to be bigger lol from iphone 7 plus not much difference at all and its even feels beeter in hand than iphone. Not first time note user, so know what to expect. Camera is so awesome and dont let me start on the screen lol love it love it love it. If you can afford definitely buy one, better in any way than rest by mile! Well done samsung!

AnonD-667905, 18 Sep 2017Gsmarena should use another way to express batery life the ... moreYou're right. I make my own monitor tabulation based on data usage via wifi, telco data connection, SOT, upkeep time, percentage used, and keeping the battery tabulation sheet to one month at a time.
This is how I can predict or expect a battery charge can last. Month after month will show how the battery will start to degrade or have plateaued in certain months. I also recheck everything by using Gsam Battery Monitor which I reset every month. It's fairly accurate compared to the Excel spreadsheets I keep.
Or you just use the Gsam Battery Monitor to give you all the battery stats. This is how much upkeep time and SOT I can get on a 10,000 mAh extended battery on my Note 3:

As for GSM Arena's system of battery performance, it's their own way of comparing to the rest of the other phones they have reviewed.

Gsmarena should use another way to express batery life the one they use is completly wrong in real life usage how u could say the phone has 115 hours of batery life while up to now there is no smartphone crosses 24 hours of usage you should thinnk again
