It is a shame if high end smartphone doesn't come in dual SIM as a standard nowadays plus the SD slot , the A7,A5 shouldn't be better than NOTE 8 in this point, I feel I'll shift to XZ Premium

Unfortunately the LG G6 will not have a removable battery. Very disappointed......Keep looking someone will wise up to our needs.

I hope it won't be foldable! I hope colors are really colors - on the bezels too! Coral blue would be a popular option I'm sure. I hope it keeps IP68 certification and I hope the size remains the SAME as in Note7 except for a better screen to size ratio. The s8 plus looks ridiculously large, like you need a concealed carry licence for it. And of course keep the S pen!

bzb416, 23 Mar 2017Lets boycott the note 8 if the battery is non-removable. I... moreI have been using samsung ( I'm not going to start the brand's name with a capital) phones since 2011, I'm done with this brand. After the last update the gyro sensor stopped working. It works only for 15-20 min after the reboot, so it is a software issue. I think they done it on purpose to persuade people buy newer models.
Non removable battery is outrageous! I'm considering LG phones.

Lets boycott the note 8 if the battery is non-removable. I am on my second battery for my note 4. The original Samsung battery was suck! The phone is still running great with rooted and custom ROM. I love the note series and so looking forward to the new and better than Note 4 phone, but will not spend another dime for Samsung if they are not taking their loyal customers seriously. Greedy is the only one reason that all these companies stick with the non-removable battery.

My whole family is using note series.
                  2 note5 for me
                  1 note5 for my bro
                  2 note4 for my wife & Sister
                  2 note3 for my MOM & DAD

we all are waiting for Note8 but on one condition
"if it is a non removable battery it should be 4500-5000 Mah"

in this case i will definitely buy 7 pieces of Note8.

Builtin battery is acceptable for me if it is 4500 or 5000 Mah. As Lenovo and xiaomi are offering.
Specs given above really need 4000+ battery last long full day but if samsung provide 4500 or 5000 battery. they will win the race for sure.

Battery has to be 4,000MAH, screen needs to be 6.4 and 2K-4K (as a computer person I'd understand if they decided to only go with 2K), GPU has to be Adreno 540, CPU has to be Snapdragon 835, Storage has to be at least 128GB and the RAM has to be 6-8GB for me to buy this, if it meets my requirements I'll pay 900$ in a blink of an eye otherwise I'm not interested in 64GB storage memory... SD card slots are a scam they dont even allow us to fully move the apps they're only good for video, pictures, audio and other files basically anything but apps. 128GB internal storage or it's no from me.

I have a Note 4 with 2 spare batteries. With GPS on all the time, the phone cannot make it through the day. This is a huge problem with built in Batteries. I wouldn't mind if the phone was twice as thick and made it through a day without being charged.

The next phone that gets this right will take over the market. Why does a power bank even exist? Now you have to carry a phone and a power bank, because the manufactures are worried that the phone will be too heavy to carry.

This is the only reason someone will buy the New/Old Nokia 3310.

Non removable battery phone is garbage.Technology for good batteries is still pressed. I'm using note 4 and 5 side by side, as a note fun I'm disappointed. It's actually a see sow, up for someone and down for the other. Please for Galaxy Note funs; Note 4 is the last one and we are going down.

AnonD-568498, 14 Mar 2017I will NOT be buying a note 8 without a removable battery. ... moreFrom what I am hearing, Samsung will NOT be releasing any new phones that have a removeable batteries. I was very bummed at first. But when my battery fizzled out on my 1 s7 edge, My carrier overnighted me a new phone and I did Samsung "smartswitch" and then I sent my broke phone back in the same box my new one came in. I am Samsung'er for life. Samsung gave out some great consellations for the note 7 fiasco!!!!

                                No SD Card
No Deal - either of those is a deal breaker.
They want my wife phone for 14 days to replace a faulty battery, I replaced the one in my note4 in 14 seconds.

I will NOT be buying a note 8 without a removable battery. The phone will by far out last the battery, so I'm supposed to pay labor and take the phone somewhere where they download all my info - more time wasted when I could do it myself - next phone will be a different brand.

I'm also going to run my Note 4 into the ground. I love the ability to add a memory card and removable battery. I sort of understand doing away with the memory card (although I don't like it) b/c they're trying to drive everyone to use cloud storage but why a non-removable battery ?
Some food for thought... if the Note 7 had a removable battery then they could have salvaged the 96% that were recalled by replacing the battery with a proven good one from yet a 3rd battery vendor.
