I already have some of the icons with a different design after updating the apps, however I don't find it disturbing or ugly. My Note8 hasn't received the pie update yet but I will see whether I am going to install it right away or wait a little longer. Maybe I wait till my Note FE gets the update and I can try it out on that phone first.

Lots of people saying they dislike with it. I won't complain anything about one UI, it works great on me. Feeling kind of new sensation with this samsung already. trying to move on from Oreo must be a good idea.

I read people saying something about the icons in One UI, what exactly is wrong with the icons? I saw videos of One UI but I don't see anything concerning.

Looking at various first impressions from users with 9.0 Pie and One UI, I think I might wait with updating. My Note8 still hasn't received the update yet and it's not yet available but I think I will wait till they solved some bugs and other issues.

Well, after android pie it kinda feels more laggy and stuttery, when casually using it in menu.
With Oreo it was much smoother for me, without any lag...

Just received One Ui for android pie update with around 1358.25MB in Southeast Asia.

Most of 9.0 and One UI is working fine. Sometimes apps dissappear from the task switcher. Can't hide the task bar anymore. That little dot to double tap on is gone. I'm not sure if there's another way to do it.
Today I deleted 2 files totalling 1.4GB from the internal storage but it still shows the same amount of storage used.

Night Mode, Tap on Display works great, Icons are pretty disappointing and dolby atmos...hardly i feel any difference...doesnt work with most of third party apps

Installed the update few hours ago and its really amazing you will feel that you are using a new phone specially the night mode...
My only concern is the icons design are very poor samsumg must work on that!
