I never imagine heat temp SD 845 processor really is, but Note9 solve that common problem easily, even while charging is not hot as previous flagship phone, even using Fast Charging, and large battery, and I think playing light games for a long time, note9 wouldn't heat up.
Winter is comming and your Note9 get more cooler than I expected
Copper heat pipe was already had since S7 and S7 edge, till S9, but it seems Samsung perfected the heat pipe from Note9 with an impressive result
Great improvement, I hope oncoming S10 will get the same thing here

I never press the Bixby side button, but it seems Bixby Vision on the camera is useful
Bixby is worth for assisting a whole phone but NOT the external internet search result, Google Assistance is a good choice

Awesome piece of hardware! Sammy killed it here, coming from s7 I'm amazed. Truly an upgrade in every way, I live in the us so I opted for a SD variant begrudgingly. I read the exxenos? Version, while rootable, has issue with usa cell infra, also s-pay wouldnt work apparently. I was quite torn over which to choose, but I'm very happy with this baby, The 845 noticeably faster then the 820. Sammy nailed the optimization this time, out the box the CPU is governed perfectly, (something I didn't expect ) it never lags or hangs, nor does it overheat or over throttle like this s7. This gives me amazing battery endurance. All day, possibly 2 depending on usage. With 8 hours FHD÷ SOT I end my day with 30% sometimes! And this display is a beast.
All of course with no notch 🙂
The primary camera is pretty good, pretty much same as s7 to me, the secondary camera is kinda gimmicky, Honestly, it's not the dedicated 2x, like you assume. The software picks the lenses automatically. I would have liked to been able to fire that secondary whenever I'd like but no, well not yet. I'm hoping for some software updates to the camera app, It has very few modes, alot less then my s7 😡😡 No surround, no panoramic, kinda disappointing. All this AI talk and no follow Honestly. I would be pretty disappointed If sammy doesn't add these..... This is my only gripe so far, and it's a easy fix. The modes it has auto, food, slow motion, a super slow motion, [haven't used either] and live focus [portrait] which Is the only way to fire the tele sensor manually. Well it fires both on live focus, so far the only way to see the wide lense in action, pro mode is the same, Yea you can swich the apture on the fly manually!, pretty cool to see. Alas, it takes wonderful photos on auto especially in good light. Works decent in low light as well... overall I feel this is the best android out right now, it's worth the extra for the spen and giant battery. Forgot to mention, 128 GB out the box is awesome, Got another 128 on my sd. I can hook up my sennheisers and jam out no dongle, no bs. Thank you sammy! Still on quick charge 2.0 so no 80% in 10 minutes, like one plus or Huawei, it charges 15 to 100 for me in about 35 mins. Fine with me ! Conclusion 9/10 , I'd give the 10 when or if they fix the camera, add some different modes. Oh and I feel this destroys the eye fone ... nuff said

So I've ran up and down to get some hands/on time with the Note 9 in stores (i.e. : Media Markt, Euronics XXL; must mention that I live in Germany).
The hands on experience is great, quality wise is nothing to be worried about, one thing I am concerned about is the OS since Android is notorious to be lagging as it ages (Before the iPhone 7 Plus, I've been a Note 2/3/4 user).
I will post updates as I use it!

This phone is a perfect beast. The embodiment of what the note line should be. But since i'm still 14-months on contract with my note8, had to resist getting it. I do hope the note10 will only be a huge improvement. Under display fps, under display front cam, true edge-to-edge display, 100hr endurance rating (how i wish!), stereo speakers, 7nm chipset, 8gb ram, 512gb rom. I don't care if it costs north of $1200. I will be purchasing it with joy if all of the above come true.

currently im using iphone 8+ , dnt hv words to describe my phone as a daily driver nd heavy usage , never left me behind.. i want to switch to Note 9 , this page might be only for Note 9 , but i want a honest answer , is it worth to leave ip8+ nd get Note 9? thnx in advance!

I got oit two week ago and I wonder it is not charging if power on even if it is showing fast charging and the remaining duration and when power off it is charging as common fast charging is that common ? it is still in warranty pls advice.

My 2 months old Note9 (Ocean blue 128gb) performs well, but as a S9+ user before Note9 I feel ram management is poor than S9+. That's why sammy ditches beautiful infinity wallpapers like S9 and Note8. Note9 wallpapers are nearly static. Day by day sammy step backwards. Now Huawei phones are looks promising than Samsung.

No update yet.the last one was the camera update. My s9+ is on Oct patch . But I am surprised why not note9. I feel they should directly bump it to November patch.
