Compared to Note8, Note 9 is better in battery life. Can use a full day and still have more battery, not like note 8 no need to charge twice sometimes per day if use for long video calls and YouTube. Display is slightly bigger and better, very smooth operation and great network receiving quality.

Hi, I enjoyed S8, Note8 and S9 default wallpapers with some particles effect. In case of Note9 sammy removed that and the effect is less eye catching. Is there any way to got those particles effect in Note9? I searched play store and the apps are not upto the mark. Is any one here to help me?

note 8 and note 9 is top notch but the long length design is a deal breaker for me. can't fit in my pocket is a fail to me. wish it's shorter.

Disadvantages : HYbrid deceptive quality killer, No necessary infrared , No radio recording rds ,the difference between 126 gigs of $ 4000 dollars and 512 gigs of 6000 dollars in X place in the world is the public interest killer in the world !!! Sadly for one smartphone several RAM and Rom from 32 gigs to 512 gigs with different RAM have come to the markets to earn money illogical .Beside some ultra good qualities , Note 9 frfrom10 points because of omissions of necessary app gets 7 even if it is made of pure gold!!I have to mention that this phone belongs to the rich VIP not absolute majority of people worldwide !! Adding that Samsung policy in recent years makes lowest incomplete smartphones wit deleting necessary apps ! A revision must happen to quality sector of Samsung since people are wise and smart not to be deceived by spending money advertising !! Dearest Samsung , I write tenderly for good will not enmity which is against my moral guidelines . Hybrid is quality deceptive killer . SugaTWDragon, 17 Oct 2018Split screen has been in most Samsung phones ever since the... moreI don't know for me, Note 9 seems to be a more complete phone, I wouldn't say it perfect though as it has some few downsides, however, I've got to admit, I have never seen such a complete phone till now from any other OEMs(Apple,Huawei, Google, HTC, Nokia, Sony etc)
I call a phone a complete package when it has no notches, very good display, good pair of dual camera set up with AI, 4,000mAH or higher, 3.5mm audio jack is a must have(so afraid of having more chargers and sh*ts), (fast)wireless charging, good stereo speakers, IP68,faster download and upload speed, dual Bluetooth capability, 512GB internal + another 512GB option (daymn…)etc Bluetooth Spen and improved DeX capability is a plus for me. Don't get me wrong,I've used iph xs max recently, but felt like a prison so total no to me. I am just using Note 9 as a main driver, and I can see that they have improved a lot with the fluidity and update timing has improved a lot! No surprise at all that they are at the top in Android market share. Really hope Huawei and google to stop being a trend follower and do something more innovative even in design wise, just put an audio jack and without a notch would be a good start. Just my honest opinion, Cheers!

Galaxy Note 9 owners, I value your honest experienced opinion.
Everyone knows that Samsung makes the best smartphone displays, so of course I want to protect it, primarily against scratches.
Which screen protector(s) would you recommend for the Note 9?
I don't mind if it's Film, Tempered Glass or even Spigen's GLAS.tR Nano Liquid.
I already have Spigen's Note 9 Tough Armour case.

Anonymous, 17 Oct 2018can u split screen ??Split screen has been in most Samsung phones ever since the S5/ S6 time I believe (not sure, correct me if I made a mistake). Apple still does not allow that feature, so I don't see how owning the Xs Max which has a smaller battery, a $200+ increase compare to the Note 9, no expandable storage, that notch............ Still, if you like the iPhone, go for it, but just be warned the price tag of what Tim Cook said that the $1300 (Xs)/ $1500 (Xs Max) is not expensive

I've been using this function on my S6 for more than 2 years now.
I think that this function is on all Android OS phones now.

That's an Apple product that Apple done right, and I'm enjoying using it to draw EVERY DAY for designing and for teaching drawing. More so than my Galaxy Note now. Do you own a Samsung device currently? No. But one.
iPhones have only recently gotten stereo audio recording - after 10 long years of mono recording which none of you ever noticed. Only recently that multiple simultaneous signals is supported. Only recently with OLED screen. Only recently with dual SIM. Wow, iPhone is catching up after a decade to match what Android had enjoyed. Wait till you finally Pencil support on an iPhone. That's the time I'll get an iPhone.
I'm not some brand loyal person. I get what's the best current device with drawing capabilities. iPad is currently the best performing with the price. I'm an iOS user.

The worst app is facebook, so many ads and messenger and ............... so keep note of that with any phone.

Hi guys, please help me, I just bought this phone.
Like all other new Note 9, the phone will download several Samsung applications when it first started. Due to bad connection, my installation stopped at the PENUP app. I am afraid I might have missed some useful apps that the Note 9 would automatically download for starters. Does anyone still remember what the apps are? Thanks.
