You would have to be certain that you want to do this before you attempt this as you will trip Knox irreversibly after install.

This is a phone from the same era as iPhone Xs/Xs Max.
I had this phone for short time recently, also a Galaxy S21+ after, both phones mare or less unusable, due to lag and small problems each there (like fingerprint problems in S21+ and so on).
Change them with an iPhone Xs, which works much better. Even though it doesn't have an original display and original battery anymore.
This shows me that iPhones tend to age little bit better than Android phones.
Of course, this is true when you want to buy phones second hand, like I usually do.
For people who buy phones only new and change them each year (for example Chinese phones), this doesn't count.

Its not that bad though unless if you factory data reset it causes alot of lags in roblox and also Mali G72 s#cks at other game because this GPU is unsupported in other apps like pojavlauncher,it doesn't matter anyways. I suggest you costum rom its more better, if you're a techtoker or tech master i suggest it ,i couldn't custom rom because of important files. I still got good fps but keep having lagspike in other apps and games after factory reset.
{Vulkan support and 64 bits all goods}
IF YOUR POJAV PLAYER OR MOBILE JAVA PLAYER ZINK RENDER OR VULKAN RENDERER IT DOESN'T WORK and CRASHES USE HOLY G4ELS INSTEAD.
i tested in FCL(Fold craft Launcher) Virgl works but error in shader, all renderer Holy G4els and virgl works but some are not except for those Two.
Hey don't expect much on 2018 flagship
(btw you'll receive no more update)
Tell me if i was wrong prove it pretty please I'm currently trying to fix one

I've got the 8 gig 512 unit. It was given to me as a freeby but the previous had did a update that made the screen go a bit green before he gave it to me. It was a bit annoying at first but it doesn't bother me anymore as it only would green out when i killed the screen and jump back in straight away. It hasn't done it in a while. It could be a chip heating up problem during the update and that was almost 2 years ago. Since then i set it to auto update. My problem is looking for a better case for it?

Do Samsung Note 9 have reliability issues?
I bought all three used, but all have failed after some times.
First Note 9 - works well but has green screen issue
Second Note 9 - Got stuck in and endless boot loop after Android update
Third Note 9 - Has constant audio issue.
I do have older Samsung phones, but they are rock solid. Has Samsung quality gone down or is the supplier I am using, selling poor quality refurbished phones?

Still using this iconic Superphone well into 2024 and totally satisfied? I own two (2) models ( Midnight Black and Ocean Blue) factory unlocked W versions (Canadian). They both have been simply amazing...no issues whatsoever? Battery health on both are reading at 95% from it's original 100% (I don't game on them, mainly productivity stuff, music streaming, video/photography and talk radio). It amazes me that Samsung was so far ahead of the tech game in 2018? Fast forward to 2024, and the Note9 is still sought after and appreciated from owners and fans around the world? I don't know of too many smartphones (past or present) that holds the same legacy and rank like the Note9 does? It's an over-engineered juggernaut, solidly built tech tank, that continues to live up to its name....CROWN!
