Unlocked Galaxy Note9 receives Android Pie in the US
The global version of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 received the One UI update based on Android 9.0 Pie in January and February and just this month, the carrier-locked version got the OTA update too. Even Brazil's unlocked handsets got it.
But only now, the unlocked Galaxy Note9 in the US finally starts receiving the much-awaited Pie update. Galaxy Note9 owners were fast to share that their carrier-unlocked phones are getting the firmware. The build number is N960U1UEUCSB3 and the download is around 1.7GB in size. It brings along the February 2019 security patch too.
If it still hasn't arrived, you can always check manually for the upgrade although, it may take a while before it spreads across the country.
