When I spoke to samsung malaysia yesturday, they told me that they are still in the R&D phase of 4.4.2 for n8000 and they cannot say a exact release date. In 4.1.2 release also it took about one month to other countries to recieve the update after german.

Lack of software updates drives me crazy. I am trully displeased with Samsung policy on updates. Proudly can say that just bought LG phone for my wife to avid waiting for the mercy of Samsung

My galaxy note LED lights up when the device is switched off and turns off when the device is switched on.Any reason why>>>

I m in middel east and i have android 4.1.2
I have charger heating problem too
but its not a bad thing it for 7000mha battery of n8000
for cooling you can unplug and open the charger pieces and after few minutes connect it again /for fast drainnig battery problem you can clear the ram and root your device and stopnot needed apps on startup

I am currently had a problem with this unit especially of its battery while charging. It keeps on draining while using it that is why whenever I charge it i just turn it off. Imagine more than 12 hrs before making it 100% fully charged??? Twisted right?..I already went to the service center but still my problem was still the same..can anybody here do tell me what to do??please..im losing hope to this concern im facing now...=((

khalil1982, 18 May 2014yes, im also xperiencing that..what I do is, I dont charge ... moresame thing i do...unplug and let it cool then plug again.
mine was just repaired by service center...i bought it here in KSA. when I brought it to the Philippines suddenly I cant open, service center told me that problem in motherboard..luckily still under warranty so didn't pay any amount.

Hey there
I just bought an AV tv cable for my N8000.
Problem is, I cannot get it to connect to the tv (no picture on screen, and no options on the Note).
I tried the net and Youtube, but no luck.
Anyone have any feedback on this? Does this device only work with HDMI?

It has been proved beyond doubt that when Sammy wants and if there's a will update 4.4 only not. 2 possible, it was when 2014 same model was being updated N8000 lucky enough to qualify. Lets see whats thete in bugs fixed ad improved ui. Lets convey its over sensitive flickering on home screen, without touching it flickers fr long time. Pls R&D guys take it serious enough to rectify.
