baaz, 03 Aug 2014i wanna buy a phone in next 2 days, i am confused between n... moreI used Desire 816 for about a week and sold it. Now I'm using Galaxy note 3 neo (not duos). I prefer the Note 3 Neo in some ways:
1. More compact size. At this size the note 3 neo fits my pocket perfectly. I always feel the desire 816 pops out of the pocket. The bezel around the desire screen is so thick.
2. Better screen (amoled vs super lcd2). Although Amoled colors could be misleading in contrast, depends on your liking, I love amoled for super deep black. But desire 816 screen is great too, I have no complain.
3. Off screen touch buttons. I prefer this way since virtual buttons on 816 takes up some space, you'll lose screen asset. So basically Note 3 Neo 5.5 is bigger than Desire 816 5.5inch.
4. S-Pen: trust me, I've never used any pen on phone but this one is great. It supports some pressure levels which I think good enough for taking notes, making scrapbooks and draw something when you're on the bus, waiting for someone, etc.
5. Faster. Cpu on Note 3 neo is way faster than Desire 816, can be compared to snapdragon 600.
6. Awesome battery life. 3100mah vs 2600mah, you do the math. Of course the number can't tell it all but you can look up on this page battery test to make your own judgment.
The only down side of the Note 3 neo is running Android 4.3 but I heard some news telling 4.4 is coming this month (August 2014).
I still see the Desire 816 is a great device with its lightweight body, good camera, dual speakers (boomsound) on the front and very smooth UI.

hi, most of you think that note neo is better and faster than note neo duos because neo cpu is hexa core 1.3 quad + 1.7 dual ( two cpu ) and neo duos is quad core 1.6 (one cpu), but that's wrong because there's problem in neo you can't use the two cpu in the same time it's automatically use only the dual core 1.7 for light apps and games and only quad core 1.3 for heavy apps and games and if you force the phone to use the two cpu in the same time by root it will get over heating and consume the battery very fast :( but neo duos use 1.6 quad for both light and heavy games :)
for example if you want to play asphalt 8 neo will use 1.3 quad core only :(
but neo duos will use 1.6 quad :)
and this is mean that neo duos is better than neo also that explain why neo duos is more expensive than neo ( neo: about 300 euro /and neo duos:about 360 euro)

I can't know the difference between Note 3 neo & Note 3 neo (DUOS) !
I Found that the Chipset in note 3 neo is Exynos 5260 and in the note 3 neo DUOS is Qualcomm MSM8228 Snapdragon
And the processor in note 3 neo is Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex A7 & dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex A15 and in the note 3 neo Duos Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7
Also The Gpu in note 3 neo is Mali-T624 and in the Duos is Adreno 305
