We ... moreYou are absolutely right rags and the two bars of signal when connected to 4G directly points to a weak antenna in a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for LTE 4G! I can't say whether this is a problem with one lot or right across the entire range of Samsung Galaxy Note 4! I hope the Koreans correct it I their eagerly awaited Note 6! The word is that the Note 4 would have a 4500mAh battery!?

There is bound to be trouble when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is to be used for making video calls where voice call and data are transmitted back and forth simultaneous hence this can't be an inbuilt feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 but a case of defective antenna on the device. A weak antenna can be one of the reason for excessive battery drain on a mobile device. Anyone else facing a similar problem with their Samsung Galaxy Note 4 device??? BTW had a word with the Samsung tech wiz who confirms a problem with the mobile device. I need to know if my other friends are facing a similar problem with their Note 4 devices???

Rags, 01 May 2016Yup. That is the only defect on the Note 4. Researched on i... moreits is normal the call drop from lte to 2g/3g when making a call or receiving it. Lte network is for data only, so whenever you receiving a call or making one, your signal will drop to 3g/2g. the network change from lte to 3g/2g when making or receiving call is nothing to do with signal strenght or the phone for all that matter. it is because it was set that way.

Why did you do away with the text recognition feature (from images) in smart select (stylus)
It is a very useful tool for proessionals who are most likely to buy a phone with a stylus in the first place.

i wanna buy note 4 duos but im unable to make a firm decesion coz i saw note4 duos specs.it is upgradable only upto lollipop os but i need a samsung phone which will give me later os upgradations too. my query is will note 4 duos will later on receive os mm update or just only upto lollipop os?? whereas d single sim model has few difference like battery and even upgradable upto mm os.

I am living in an area with a strong LTE coverage as confirmed by my other LTE devices but sadly all i get are 2 feeble signal bars on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 'Model no. N-910G' with a poor Signal Strength -96dBm 44asu. Anyone who needs to find out the signal strength on their Samsung Note 4 pl. switch off the wifi and make sure you have selected WCDMA/GSM/4G LTE in their network setting and go to setting>about device>status>signal strength. It's such a really sad revelation to an otherwise terrific mobile device. Well that i that and that's a heart breaker for now! Pl. friends do post your Samsung Note 4 signal strengths if you are on 4G LTE network to see how you guys are faring with your devices??? Thanks you all for your contributions to signal strength readings on your devices in advance!

I got marshmallow update and recent may 2016 security update...its great to have marshmallow but I am facing these problems
1. Battery drains fast , more specifically its more than twice as faster compared to lollipop
2. Device overheats. It feels like its gonna melt down😀
3. music and video players stutters on continuos use
If anybody has similar problems please let samsung know about this so that they might fix in next update. You can email samsung care.

1. Battery drains so fast that i started to regret getting marshmallow update
2. Overheating problem
3. Music playerstutters
If anybody has the same problem, i request you to post these problems in samsung care so that these problems get noticed by the developers so that they might rectify the problem in next update

Hi friends, I got the MM update in India. The only problem I have is with LTE connectivity. Even though I have excellent Airtel LTE 4G connectivity here and I have been using a 4G enabled handset before with full signal strenght of max bars. The problem is when I use the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which I recently purchased the signal drops to 2 bars at all tmes and switches to 2G when I receive or make a call. I've tried factory and network resetting. I've even tried booting the phone in safe mode but it's hopeless! Anybody else facing the same problem? Please help?
