Is there NO CHANCE to get the OTA Update to Marshmallow other than the Service Centre Option..
Hope that the INS Model of Note 4 May have its share of OTA Update, but albeit slow than the INU Model..
No Regrets to Wait.. I am excited to Update it myself via OTA.. Even if it arrives by May Month End, I will welcome it, given that it must be bug-free, glitchless, smooth and fluid running, full update with renovated TouchWiz (TouchWiz ver 5.0 Nature UX), if it comes with Newest Version 6.0 Nature UX GUI, then it is most welcome..
I am ready to spend 2GB of Data for a noble cause.. (1.4GB for Android 6.0.1 M and 0.6GB for TouchWiz Nature GUI (if any))

Post the 6.0.1 update, Battery drains faster and Fingerprint unlocking won't work for the first time after mobile restart. It requires the use of backup password for every first unlocking after restart.

zooloo, 19 Apr 2016what happens if it ends with I....?!!!There is no such Galaxy Note 4 CSC Code that ends with I. As Indian version of N910G comes under ODD and ODD has INU and INS Only.

What I meant in mentioning the word contradictory was, even though both the INU and INS will get the updates, but one of them will always have a time lag in the release..

Yes, I did, they told me the Information that the Update is yet to arrive and no need to panic..
The Software Version (Build Version) they told was N910GDTU1DPB6. So waiting patiently for the OTA.

I am using sm n910g snapdragon. Recently upgraded to marshmallow no lag,heating issues or battery drain, after upgrading the rom did a factory reset and cleared the cache. I have installed more than 150 user apps phone is not rooted but disabled most of the default apps.

Hello Friends..
I have come across a bit of information which might be helpful to all the Indian Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Owners..
If possible check the Retail Box for the Code..
SM-N910G... for the last three letters:
If it ends with INU, Tap on the "Software Update", and the Update for Marshmallow 6.0.1 will start. These phones might have been getting the 6.0.1 along with Feb/Mar Security Update patch.
If it ends with INS, as in the case of my phone too.. we need to wait atleast for a couple of weeks to months.. as such the Play Store has got its update. These phones have had their March Security update installed on 8 March.
As of now, all those who have the INU CSC (Carrier Security Code, I suppose, but not sure of the Expansion) on Indian Note 4, from Punjab to Kerala via Telangana have received the 1406MB Update.
Moreover there is also an info that the INU and INS are contradictory to each other, i.e. if INU gets update, INS will not and vice-versa.
Indian Retailers from Samsung have these two variants hopefully to tackle with easy and fast updations.
Get Ready for 01:30:15 duration of the OTA Play of Whopping 1406MB..
I am waiting still..
