Or factory reset to make your phone like brand new again, apps that running on background are the main reason why battery drained faster too. Uninstall useless / rarely use apps may help much tko

Does the new update consume a lot of RAM? Lollipop 5.1.1 , it's consuming a lot of RAM (remain 300-500 MB of RAM mostly ) n phone getting hot and hot in gaming or any and battery not working propyl (no battery timing). Right now it's available for another update and need to take more than 1200 MB space. Can you give me advice what should I do?

Samsung want you to but their flagship every year that's why the Note 4 marshmallow update is so limited in terms of UI updates. If we want the theme store, grid change option. The only way I can think of is rooting and installing a Note 5 ported rom.

Here is my review of updated OS 5.1.1 Lolipop SM N910H :
I just updated my OS from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 30 mins ago and I'm so pleased!
Before on 5.0.1 it's consuming a lot of RAM and remain only 500MB to 300MB RAM then after update to 5.1.1 it's give me a lot of RAM (1200MB) space free!
Very responsive, it's like 2x faster than 5.0.1 No kidding.
Battery life and heat issue will update tomorrow, thanks before to all of you who give me advice and opinions.

Mcps, 10 Apr 2016Same here i got the same issues. Totally pissed off!Factory reset may help!

Also you could try disabling apps you don't use.
                          hope that helps :-)

I just bought Note 4 1 week ago and it's already in Lolipop 5.1.1 vers, it's consuming a lot of RAM (remain 300-500MB of RAM mostly) n phone getting hot in gaming (this case doesn't happen when I used Note 3). Right now it's available for another update and need to take more than 700MB space. Can you give me advice what should I do? Thanks in advance

Marshmallow update for galaxy note 4 will be totally useless . . . Only icons, off screen memo feature and air command menu that we saw on galaxy note 5 is changed . . . Same old notification bar and phone dialer that was on android 5.0 and 5.1.1 . . . No theme support . . . Atleast note 4 users should get new phone dialer and white ui notification bar that we saw on all 2015 flagships . . . Samsung knows that if they provide new features in old phone. . . no one is going to leave their old phones and upgrade
