Do a factory reset afterwards to make sure that any bug/s that comes with the update (in case there is/are) will be flushed. To be on the safe side, backup whatever files you have in your phone for re-uploading after doing the factory reset. I did the same on my Note4.

My note 4 battery is draining after update . I think this is samsung strategy to make their update worst and make the device lag . Even the ultra power saving mode . I just use the note 4 as my second phone and the iphone 6s plus as the main phone . But the note 4 battery died first . This happened after the latest update ,

My Galaxy Note 4 currently run on Android Lollipop v.5.0.1. I've just got a notification about OTA update to Lollipop v.5.1.1. So should I update to v.5.1.1 or keep the v.5.0.1? Your answers are truly appreciated. :-)

If you root your device and install custom recovery or OS you might trriped the knox bit (0×1) and can not be reset to (0×0) now you can not use knox related security featues and OTA updates by samsung. In order to check knox status power off the device. Now press Home btn+volume down+power btn to go into down load mode. It will confirm by pressing volume up key now look at the knox bit. Is it 0 or 0×0 then it is ok
If it is 0×(0001) or 0×1 then it is triped

They have similar specs except for the S-pen of course.
