There is no option to MUTE the shutter sound, but the hack to that is turn on the SILENT profile for phone calls, and shutter sound will be MUTE..

Note 4 is an incredible device. Fantastic screen, fast/reliable performance and hopefully...samsung will reduce the bloatware and other apps that don't really make any sense...( I get the idea of S health but I coud'nt care less on how many steps i take ). Android 6 should speed up the software side as the touchwiz is a little heavy

Thanks a ton everyone for sharing your experiences on my questions. One last bit: I have 128GB sdcard on my current phone, which does makes the phone slow. Should I expect the same on Note4??

I've had this phone for a really long time and i love it. my only issue with it is that it cant play games well. it seems the GPU just isnt strong enough to play games in quad HD. as for everything else its the best phone ive ever had. rock solid in every way. I have never thought to my self "damn i wish my phone could do that" it can do anything any other phone can on the market. i love it.

No, only on a rooted. Or install silent camera app.

No lags, try using it offline without inserting the sim card and not using wifi, I'm sure it will working seamlessly. It become lagging only when on line cause by weak network connection and data speed.

12 months of using Note 4:
- Great battery performance specially after updating 5.1.1
- Never figure any lags or freezings
- Very high performance and high resolution
- Faced a problem of heating and problems with battery only after 5.0.1 update
- Fast internet browsing and downloading
But now its very stable after 5.1.1 really super amazing phone still a huge device even after note 5 release due to the same specs. So who has this phone must wait for note 6!

Well those who complaints about lag please check the lag they face while getting out of bed and walking to bathroom, Lol. Really lag is not even noticealble, yes it really matters when the phone slows down but that rarely happens in case of Note 4. I use Nova Prime Launcher for years and it works great and after using it, there are least chances that anyone will like Touchwiz.

Th... moreAgreed lag is here and there but its negligible....every phone lags no doubt on that ..have seen lagging iPhone as well...Its just a tag has been given to Samsung and we all know its just because of touchwiz UI....unless until its a major lag no worries;-)
