TE phones are fast, but they can also suck a battery dry in a few hours. Nokia Siemens Networks did some preliminary studies on LTE phone’s power drain versus their HSPA (3G) counterparts and found that LTE devices consume from 5 percent to 20 percent more than previous-generation phones, depending on the application used. Those numbers, however, seem conservative compared to the anecdotal evidence.

AnonD-343620, 02 Oct 20154g network is less battery consumer with compare to 3g netw... moreFrequency: GSM used 900/1800MHz, 3G used (generally) 2.1GHz, LTE was supposed to use 2.6GHz but the most popular band is 1800MHz. The lower the frequency, better the coverage means less power consumption.
Coverage: If you have a perfect 3G coverage as opposed to poor 4G than 3G would perform far better than 4G and vice versa.
If you live between cell edges or where a coverage of 3G/4G ends then handovers will kill your battery.
4G generally means faster data rates and as a result users tend to consume more data, this could lead to battery draining much more.

Got lollipop 5.1.1 update yesterday on my note 4 sm-n910g.its very smooth and ram consumption is less now. Multitasking is much faster than before.
But the only thing is my antutu benchmark score has dropped down.
Otherwise the phone is working nicely. Go.ahead

Lg g3 has few days to count for android 6 and yet note 4 nowhere else even 5.1. so so sad sammy.note 4 my last sammy phone which i think better than note5

There is no bloody LTE in India as yet. What airtel says is useless, it will take another year for bandwith. Reliance should be good there. So dont worry about LTE in India. Moreover LTE sucks your battery atleast in all the phones now. 3g is good enough till the phones improve.

Off topic:
On iPhone, on phone dialer, when we try to put phone number, it displays phone number like: 98-151-6xxx
Means it puts "-" hyphen signs in mobile number. So, is there any way to remove those hyphen signs from phone numbers. I am asking you because I think you have both note 4 & iPhone.
If you can help, that would be much appreciated.

some great device after updating my sm n910f to android 5.1.1 the wifi hotspot nolonger works all my other devices cant find the hotspot on the note. is there a fix to that problem cos its frustrating me now. makes me regret buying a samsung device now.

I have not used any other variant other than the Sanpdragon so my opinion was based on the discussions here. I am satisfied with my Snapdragon Note 4 and no regrets while using it for many months.
