Anonymous, 14 Sep 2015Note 4 or A8? I like taking photos, need long lasting batte... moreBattery wise I think the two devices are on par. But Note 4 has removable battery. Can last you up to a day and a half with casual usage. On camera, they both have 16 mp shooter but Note 4 has a little more camera features. On software, A8 is obviously better since it's 5.1 out of the box. Note 4 can be updated to 5.1 too but still not available in some countries. Also I think A8 has better design because it's all metal but Note 4 is still more powerful because it has more RAM and better cpu.

Anyway, I think you'll do fine either way. Go for which is cheaper.

Prabhjit, 15 Sep 2015Thank you soo much Parbinder for the rply and guiding me...... moreThe card storage is a bit slower than the internal storage but installing a SD card won't slow your phone down.

I install all my apps on the phone storage and only use the sd card for storage of videos, moves, songs, pictures, offline maps etc. Accessing these there is no noticeable lag.

All phones get warm with heavy use or when using a lot of 3G/4G data. The Note 4 is the coolest of all phones i have used/owned.

Android updates are usually pushed out by your cell phone carrier and they decide when you'll get Lollipop, Marshmallow, etc. If you're buying a smart phone that isn't tied down to any cell phone carrier then yes, it could get updates sooner or not get updates at all. Either your Note 4 is fake or your cell phone carrier just decided not to push Lollipop to its users. KitKat 4.4.4 is way more stable than Lollipop 5.0.1 (which many people are still stuck on including me). I would go back to 4.4.4 if I could. I'm still waiting for 5.1.1 from my carrier for all the bug fixes.

                    Samsung is a big liar!
In my country they sell n910h and I've bought one about 6 month ago for about 700$ and I've just realized that my phone is stuck with android 4.4.4 while some 200$ phones from other manufacturers are already enjoying android 5 and will probably get marshmallow!
Nice job Sammy idiots! I will never ever buy any Samsung trash ever again!

The most decent phone nowadays is samsung galaxy note 4. It is an excellent phone which beats all other phones event the phones which sansung is going to release for the next 2 years. So whoever wants the best phone with them for the next 3 years grab note 4. You will be the happiest person. I have used all the phones till date but note 4 is the amazing one. S6 is the phone i could not bear it for 2 days. Note 4 is excellent in all aspects battery, display, speed etc. No complaints at all in fact i would like to thank samsung for making such a good phone and advice them stop making craps and make phone like note 4. Thank you.

The pefect phone. QHD + amoled is a match made in heaven. Battery life is strong and hot swapping batteries with an external charger kit extends it to infinity. The Note 5 is a dud. This will be my daily driver for a very long time.

Confirmed. I just received the OTA update for Lollipop 5.1.1 right now and i already updated my Note 4 SM-N910S korean variant here in the Philippines. But the icon didn't changed as i expected in the new galaxy devices like s6 series and note 5. But it's smoother than 5.0.1 and it's added the Smart Manager App for memory cleaner.
