I love Note 4. I dont want to upgrade to GN5. The otg for usb or whatever It is is a bad idea. I still want a sd card slot. Portability.

OTG is good, but you can't compare to SD.
They are different devices for different cases to use.

This is all beside the point which is, any external memory solution is a lot less convenient than a 64GB or 128GB micro SD card which is always in your phone.

I was going to give my wife my Note 4 to upgrade her phone and buy a GN5 (having owned all 4 notes so far). Instead i have just purchased an LG G4 for her and will keep using my current Note 4 for another 12 months.... If the GN6 doesn't improve i will start looking at other brands.... :-(

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2015I wish the 'no SD' cry babies would just use this option fo... moreYeah... because plugging an adapter and usb into your phone when you want another movie, more songs, some photos or extra offline maps makes a lot of sense for a MOBILE device.
I have an compact adapter and small usb stick in my wallet but it is only for rare cases when i need to transfer data to or from a computer without wireless and don't want to carry around a cable.
The replaceable battery and sd card were major selling points over the iPhone... removing them is only going to mean less sales for Samsung.
(i will refer to this post when it is announced that the Note 5 sales are dissapointing / slow / lower than expected)
