hi good day to everyone!..
i have had so many kinds of smartphones including iphones... some are good & some are not especially xperia always heating up & restarting.. but now i am using galaxy note 4 & it is a great phone.. my note 4 is more than 3 years old now & the battery is already weak so i just bought new battery & now still going like bnew... just replaced the battery that costs me P1,200 philipines pesos then it will serve for years again & again... maybe i will stick to this phone for decades more... this galaxy note 4 is so tough & full packed of features from futures to come... even though its still in lollipop 5.1.1 i dont care as long as its doing it job well... updating OS will only have additional features only that sometimes not useful or not important but it still feel like the same OS... i am so contented with this great smartphone.. 😊

August patch update is probably the last update for Note 4. It will never get official Nougat.

No name, 08 Oct 2017no ur wrong.Dint do that.It will be worst decision ever.Get... morenewer ones are shit. you want one with a replaceable battery that doesn't have glass on the back.. ergo.. note4. plus edge is a friggin PITA.

Disappointed , 06 Oct 2017GoodBye Samsung! invested lot of money in Samsung this devi... moreno ur wrong.Dint do that.It will be worst decision ever.Get new Samsung Note 8 or S8.My dad has S6 edge from 3 years,And it still going Awsome.Trust me!Me also faced some problems when i buyed old Samsung smartphone,I was dissapointed then i thought of getting of other company like Lg,Lenovo,Huawei.Just like u,I buyed Lenovo and it was worst ever smartphone i ever owned.Now I'm getting S8 very soon.Good Luck for u. :-).

Btw I'm having an Iphone 5 and i will keep it,I thought of getting Iphone 7 weeks before,But when i seen specs Iphone 7 is bad,No hates.So I'm getting S8.

Thank you Samsung for giving this shit...!!
Once I loved note series but now onwards I totally lost that love.. !!!
After updates my phone became completely waste... Hanging..heating...switching off automatically... Hell man......
I just hate this shit now... And moving to pixel XL......
Won't purchase Samsung again ever... I will suggest to every one don't purchase this Samsung shit..... They only know how to sell there products pr year..!!!

GoodBye Samsung! invested lot of money in Samsung this device, there was no issues with my note4 and I was planning to buy the next GEN note, whenever Samsung release a new flagship phone we will receive an update for the device, each update screwed the phone performance, speed camera etc... Samsung this is not the right way to push..
my note4 had no issues before the updates and now I don't even touch this phone for anything and made a decision " will never ever buy any Samsung product". I like note 8 but why should I spend that much money and after one year at the time note 9 release Samsung will screw the previous gen by the update.
Wate of money....

Replaced battery and still continues to do this. Did Samsung install code so phones have to be replaced after so many months? How can this be fixed without purchasing a new phone?

Hi there, I'd like to know if the Note 4 supports upto 256 GB SD card. The specifications page first used to say upto 128GB long time back but it now says upto 256 GB. Is it true ?

@dssh or whatever your name is... you MIGHT need a new battery IF doing into download mode or recovery mode doesnt work... There are instructions on how ... Also... these modes require you to download the right t software to the SD card and computer.. some include the OS (operating software) . custom is often the best if you find the right one.
go with simplROM v6c .. it's working perfectly with this model. in the xda forums, you'll have instructions. You may need to set aside 13 hours to do reading and learning and to understand. you need to be familiar with words like rooting, recovery mode, flashing. but all of this is really easy. just make sure you use the right software. instructions are well made
