Gsmarena,i dont understand what you guys want? You said water-dust proof technology is not good because it decreases the loudness of a phone's speaker..but same time you criticize a phone if it lacks the feature..why?

It's not advised to buy now, S6 is comming 1st Qtr, N5 n 2nd Qtr. Screen not HD nor hardware. In transition to 64bits architecture.
It will be worth less even this year. Most importantly all nxt models comming n steel, forget all plastics. Wait to bear fruits.

Friends, it's really a fantastic phone and I have been enjoying every bit of it since the I bought but does any of think that it's battery should have been more powerful at least 4200 mah? The only gripe against such a wonderful device.

Limited, 07 Jan 2015Even in 2015 you're still obstinated , Even in 2015 you can... moreI'm not saying Samsung produces the perfect devices around. Only the Galaxy Note series I personally think is worth spending on for many features and overall performance.
I can complain about not having an only LTE signal lock, or how dare they take out the AirView, made the UI waste battery with a brighter theme, and how going back to a micro USB 2.0 was a let down. Pretty minor stuff.
There are worst desadvantages of other brands out there like Sony Xperia and Apple's lack of removable batteries. iBend 6/6+ is the worst with limited file transfers, features limitations, mono audio recording, and even more fragile builds so you'd end up getting another one.

I'm currently using the Note 3 and love the features it offers. When I upgrade, I definitely would purchase the Note 4.

Samsung products at the moment are the best in the market dont look at material shape and e.t.c consider user-friendly gadget, definitely its Samsung if you cant access it well then it means that you are old and not initiated in the new tech era...
No matter the critics of Samsung being a plastic phone, it is a durable flexible and efficient gadget to be using in this 21st century... I own a Samsung D780, GT S5608, S2 and now Note 3... You cant compare Samsung with other models for it is a "Digi-phone" not an "Ana-phone"

Why there is no indicator icon of "S Pen detached" appear on the status bar at the top of the screen when the S pen is being removed from its slot? Does anyone encountered this problem before? I did power off and on the phone but still no indicator icon appear? Why?

You get the device with the service you have. The latest and fastest internet connection is the LTE-Advance, and if the smartphone model has that is just a waste since if your current service has no such service.
A country will likely have at least two tele-communication networks to be competitive for services, except for those 2nd World countries or ones that restrict private companies to hold those services. It's the service company, and not the country.
I switched to an LTE device only until I knew the service was available and smooth in my area, otherwise I would have sticked to 3G.
Again I'm arguing based on facts, it's the service company that restricts the bandwidth, and not the device as both Note 3 and Note 4 have the same bandwidth sets for 2G. Try proving this argument with facts, not your anti-Samsung chant you always post here.

Love the Note 4. My only issue is that some of my text messages are automatically deleting themselves. Someone will send me a text and I respond to it, then the text that they sent me is no longer visible. Really weird. Has this happened to anyone else??

Still, 2G in today's tech level is outdated. It was for an era for WAP, and it's not designed for large files downloads. I could just imagine your browsing being so slow.
Don't complain about the tool, complain to your service provider for not giving enough. Check you darn frequency and compare which frequency your Note 3 really is. There are apps out there to monitor this info. I never considered buying devices that had no fast relaible services to support it.
