If you ask here, everyone will say note 4 because it is no their money. It is your money. Compare the specs in gsmarena. Then compare the price. Then decide.
Note that you will get warranty if you purchase it from proper dealer. So no need to worry about lagging problem. Use 'history eraser pro' and 'cleanmaster' apps to clean the temp files and sent sms. Force stop and disable the unnecessary apps like chaton, google play music, google books, NFC service, GPS etc) Do not store any multimedia content in the phone memory. Store it in the memory card. Buy branded company (sandisk, transcend, a data etc) memory card. Good luck.

I recorded video in "smooth mode" (1080p 60fps)and it records and plays perfectly.

In case you have a note 3 already so you have to wait for note 5 :) coz you will not feel the big change between note 3 & 4...also the note 3 is one of the best phone I ever used :)

12 hours in, first comments. (Have owned a Note 1 and 3 too.)
1. Feels great in the hand
2. Very fast. Previous phone was an (excellent) LG G3, and Note 4 is faster.
3. Fast battery charging is very useful.
4. Great screen of course.
5. Low light performance of camera is better than any phone I have owned before, far less noise if you DO NOT use the flash! I think the Note 4 ramps up the ISO if you use the flash.
6. Only negatives are:
a) No wireless charging built in, have ordered wireless pad that attaches to battery from Amazon.
b) Volume level when listening to music is way too quiet. And the pop up notification is annoying.
c) Wish there were on screen Android controls with the notification control that you can opt to appear on the LG G3. Pressing a tactile button with a stylus is too much effort.
d) As is the case on all TouchWhiz devices, no way to swipe through the Phone mode tabs, you have to tap them.
Other than that, it's a keeper.

1) If you have budget definitely go for NOTE 4
2) You can receive call without touching the phone, there is voice command feature.
3) Note 4 does not lag through contact/message list.
4) Connectivity is far better and depends upon your internet speed finally depends upon your ISP.
