Galaxy S3 Never Got 4.4 Kitkat...... Galaxy S5 After Marshamallow Move Applications To SD Card Missing...... Better For U Go For Custom Roms For Galaxy Note 4 or Buy Another Smart Phone Blindly Redmi Note 4 or Lenovo P2 Atleast They Will Give U Stable Updates :)

I have a Note 4 just over a year now and the IR blaster stopped working. I have read most of the information across multiple forums and it seems to be a known issue. Factory reset does not resolve the issue. I have the SM-N910C model. Its been working fine until yesterday and has been for months on marshmallow updates. Help would be appreciated.

What is your current baseband version and build numbe... moreI am using Nokia N8 with Aircel Tamilnadu sim for making outgoing calls and using jio SIM in Note 4. I think battery drain is because of jio's presence in 3 bands of spectrum (850, 1800 and 2300 MHz). I won't use jio for making calls during travel.
I am also using Nokia 808 pureview for rare calls. I am using it N8, 808 and Note 4 equally for taking pictures when needed. I am not a photographer. Till now no android phone has come up with 38 MP or 41 MP. Thats Nokia. I am not coming to bash Samsung. I just said my opiniom based on my experience.

Its standby time if left untouched is nice. I have 4 batteries naming default (that came with the phone), number 1, 2 and 3. In this the number 2 battery got swollen and charging slowly despite of keeping fully charged and keeping it as spare for 2 months. Bit shocked to see this battery becoming like this.

Hi there.
This Samsung really work Ok for me and I still choose it from all the offer out there.
Can somebody tell me if it really goes to 256 Gb memory at expansion slot? I have a 64 Gb memory because it was the suposed limit at the time I bought it.

What is your current baseband version and build number? Mine is BB version N910GDDU1DPK2, BUILD NO MMB29M N910GDTS2DPL1 and security patch 1 Dec 2016. I keep this one because of excellent battery life and performance. What's your opinion about latest update regarding battery life and performance?

for guys having exynos version. if hav any problem pls send to original samsung service center. do not send to normal repair shop. this is because motherboard can only use original parts. oso pls use original battery. motherboard is sensitive to voltage so pirate batteries will spoil it.

This phone is one of the best produced by Samsung before they decided to move to non-removable batteries....What a mistake. IP68 certification is useless compared to the capability of changing yourself the battery by simply removing the back cover.... When you think that after 1 year, a battery capacity drops by half......
And 3 years after, screens are STILL in the 2K domain..... (S8 for ex)
Unless Sammy comes out with a real killer feature on the Note8 (apart from Grenade mode) , I'll stick with a Note4 until it dies !
