already 4 days using Note4 from Iphone4s. Note4 really smooth and stable. what i like most is the battery consumption. I am a heavy user and data 4G was on whole day and this monster can last till evening. thats for me was vry vry excellent. Guys try it and you won regret. Bravo...

In ... moreOpening multi tasking on my S805 is all most instant.
You should do are to turn off open via home key in S voice (this speeds up the home button a lot)
Also, change a few transition settings in developer options (see point 9 of link below)

Use Note 4 for a month now and by far this is the best android device I'v been using! Amazing display, boost speed, tons of hidden tricks and tools, and great Spen - the improvement over first Note is huge (only in 4 years period)! Still remember after getting Note1, all of my friends were negative about screen size and Spen - now you can see all were wrong...But, if you'r not to use Spen, you get half of this phablet..

Back to the Note 4. The camera is a big improvement over the Note 3. It has a lot more dynamic range and is considerably better for low light photos.
Speed wise it is faster opening everything. I am installing Asphalt 8 now to see how the QHD graphics goes.
Calander and email apps aren't quiet as good on the Note 4. Email is missing multi select boxes (takes extra 2 clicks to access them).
Calander is missing month view with appointments below and day, week month tabs on the rhs.
The change to the left settings button is to make Samsung uniform with other android devices... but it is still painful for a bit.

IMO, a 4K display is not important for phablets. Maximum a QHD display is more than enough. 4K AMOLED displays will lead to huge manufacturing cost and also lead to increasing the price of Note lineup. May be a 4K display is suitable for tablets, not for phones.

My black Snapdragon Note 4 arrived about 3 hours ago to replace my Note 3. :-)
A few initial thoughts are:
1) Build quality and looks are first rate. The stitching on the back is gone, the metal is a dark grey apart from the silver bevels. The wobble in the home button is gone but the volume rocker has a slight wobble. It feels and looks thinner.
2) Gapgate isn't an issue. There is no difference compared from the Note 3 apart from the 2.5D glass "rolling" into the edge which may create the illusion of a gap. There is no way i can fit anything along the edge.
3) The screen is AWESOME. It is considerably whiter, brighter, has better viewing angles and is better in sunlight than the Note 3.
4) The QHD screen resolution increase is only noticeable on the smallest of webpage text and then only just.
5) The speaker has good volume but the quality isn't great. Not an issue as i use headphones.
6) Fingerprint scanner works well but can't be rushed.
7) The left key functions (settings and recent apps) have now been switched which is painful.
8) Most apps and menus are now white not black. It looks better but may use more battery. Menus are generally laid out better.
I will do a more detailed review after a day or 2 of use.

My country got the H version of Note4 which I'm using now.
This version didn't have LTE, limited to H+ only.
I don't understand why but our network infrastructure can only reach 600kBps in H+.
And my version is exynos one and it's working okay.
The only flaw I saw in this phone is the gap, it's not a big problem but it clearly show that there was problem in their screen manufacturing. It only fit 98% to the body, and the gap is on the right. And also the headset speaker got gap on right, althought only 0.2mm probably. But overall I'm happy cause I'm switching from windows phone. Now I had all popular apps.
The last problem is, LINE messenger lagging while scrolling sticker list.
It's probably the developer problem tho.

Credits to you. iPhone really is for the masses - the simpleton user's device which does just the basics, and needs to show that Apple logo. It just falls short of what we're used to with a Galaxy Note.

My Note 4 is on board with the courier and will get here today.
I ordered the international exynos version 4 weeks ago but they couldn't get stock. Ended up ordering the AU snapdragon version (N910G) which will work better with the 3G frequencies here.

Nvidia and powerVR high end GPU have very high TDP and hence are only used in tablets. You can see that Apple uses a8 for phones which has simila r performance as adreno 420.
Also there is Mali t860 which is even better.
