And the screen isn't as high contrast as the note 4 but thats because samsung use amoled screen and lg use ips lcd.. Im not trying slaughter the n4 as it is a nice device as i said i may go back after the update but the lg isnt as bad as u think since lg pushed out ota's to fix ui lag

1st of all , i don't like ui of g3 , and display of g3 is too bad other than good ppi .
before buying iphone 6 and galaxy Alpha , i have checked all phones , and i found lg G3 laggy and not fluid at all .

And i do recall saying i may go back to the note after the lollypop update. This is not trolling, and thats your opinion on the g3 but i bet u havent owned the g3 have u and people around the world have different problems with both phones but every single phone is different

note 4 is very good device , other than issues with games .
note 4 never lags , other than some hd games .
Actually G3 is very bad phone with lags cause of 2k screen on snapdragon 801 .
G3 is worst ever compared to iphone 6, M8 , note 4 , note 3 , Alpha , S5

I owned the note 4 for 2 days i had nothing but lag, i originally had the g3 and swaped that with my brother for the note. I didnt appreciate the lag very much but mybe thats due to optimizations as i had the same problem with the g3. To cut it short i think it's all about the 2k screens as the hardware on both phones are premium so its not the processors. Went back to the g3 in the end... Just to clarify im not trolling im just sharing what happened to me. May go backbto note 4 after the lollypop update

... moredid u know.......tht real racing 3 needs to fetch player position data ? if u disable intrnet.......it may cause lagging.......i played rr3 in grand duos......the game running smoothly........but in note 4 its lagging !?!?!?
chek ur intrnet connection. then run it.

As even on 720p and 312/326 PPI , screens are sharp enough .
2k resolutions have many drawbacks , like slow down performance , 720p video will look very pixalated on 2k screens , may be even Full HD videos will not look good enough ,
2k screens consumes lots of mobile data while browsing , also reduces surfing speed and many more

What if next Real Racing 4/5 or maybe 6 comin...do the 2k screen able render the games at decent frame?

I got this phone a few days ago and I am not impressed at all. the camera is ehhh ANDROID SUCKS due to too many advertisements in all their apps free or paid for and actually to be quite honest it is just a little better than the note 3 which SUCKED! im taking this crappy phone back and getting a Iphone. Samsung needs to stick to what they are good at which is flatscreen tvs.ugggggg this sucks! I thought this phone would live up to the hype. NOPE it sure didn't!

... moreI'm not sure about Asphalt 8, Modern combat 5 and Real racing 3. But I have seen on YouTube that San Andreas lagging @ high settings on the Note 4. Let me explain why games lag on the Note 4.
The first point is the resolution of the Note 4 display. It has a QHD display, whereas the iPhone 6 and Galaxy Alpha have 750p and 720p displays respectively. Both PowerVR GX6450 and Adreno 420 on iPhone 6 and Note 4 (Snapdragon) have the same GPU power. According to the benchmark scores, the Adreno 420 seems to be better than the PowerVR GX6450, but I believe they should be equal. If you own a Galaxy Alpha Exynos version, it should have the Mali MP6 GPU. It's far lower than the PowerVR GX6450 and Adreno 420 or even the Adreno 320 in GPU power. However, that's not a big issue as the Galaxy Alpha has a 720p display. Therefore, games run smoothly on the Galaxy Alpha.
The main reason why games lag on the Note 4 because of the QHD display. It needs a lot of GPU power in order to run the games on a QHD display than a Full HD or 720p display. Even though you buy a Note 4 Exynos version, the results would remain unchanged. The PowerVR GX6450 and Adreno 420 GPUs are not designed for QHD displays. They are optimised for Full HD displays. I guess only the Kepler DX1 and PowerVR GX6650 will handle games without any issue on a QHD display. They are the most powerful GPUs currently available.

Cause , if u decrease resolution than 2K resolution screen ,
It will look pixalated .
Play 720 p video on 720p screen device , it looks awesome .
But on note4 2k Display ,
720p video is looking badly pixalated
