Iman, 20 Oct 2014I already have the s5 and I'm satisfied with it,but I'm not... moreone, while the usb3 would have been a nice feature indeed, it isn't completely necessary. and two, water resist is just a gimmick for children who don't know how to take care of their phones.

My wife has got the S5 and I own the Galaxy Note 4 since saturday. when you have the Note 4 in your hand you will notice that it's much better on all the important aspects.

I am based in India and an a note 2 owner. I have decided to skip the note 4 as
1.Notupgradable to 64 bit because of the snapdragon chip
2. No water proof or dust proof IP68 rating
3. No stereo sound
4. No Dual SIM option
Samsung has missed the mark on this one.

I'm not buying the phone just because there is snapdragon in my country. I'll either import the exynos or pass this device.

[deleted post]There is only the Snapdragon version in my country as well, no Exynos version available to buy. I'm wondering which part of the world actually Exynos version is selling. I guess the Exynos version is available only in the home country.

I already have the s5 and I'm satisfied with it,but I'm not going to buy the note 4, it has two problems first of all the note 4 has no USB 3 and second it's not waterproof,I'm gonna buy the note 5 next year,I will not waist my time on this toy

AFAIK, in 90 days even Samsung will update note 4 and s5. It happened the same last year. HTC claimed that m7 will get kitkat in 90 days and Samsung didn't say anything. But still s4 and note 3 got it close to m7. The note even got it before m7 and s4 got it sound 20 days later. Anyway, the difference if less than a month doesn't matter.
Well let's see what happens. However, HTC is doing a great job. Samsung hasn't yet notified note2 users that note 2 is going to get lollipop or not. Up to s4 it should be clear but note 2 users are not at all sure.

I'm waiting for the Android L update. HTC said that they will release it within 90 days and they have listed the device which going receive the Android L update. Still there is no any response from Samsung regarding the Android L.

Samsung Galax... more4.4.2 to 4.4.4 is not a major update. It's basically not even an update. it's just a bug fix.
However, 4.3 to kitkat is a major update.

FYI, the galaxy alpha and s5 LTE-A sport android 4.4.4.
4.4.0 to 4.4.4 are all kitkat and have virtually no difference. Why bother. The real question is about OS upgrade. how many phones will get Lollipop( i hate this name) and when. I don't care even if samsung skips 4.4.4 for s5 or note 3 or s4 and straightly updates them to 5.0.

Samsung UI is the problem and Samsung policy when comes to the update.
