So I played with the Note 4 demo unit yesterday afternoon. I am most interested with the S Pen and S Note update. One of the most compelling reason why I got the Note 3 after only of using the Note II for 9 months was the S Pen upgrade to more levels of sensitivity. It was that good, plus the fact I wanted LTE, infrared remote capabilities and micro USB 3. And here, in weighing my option of getting this at the most expensive pricing I've seen for a Note.

I love the new fountain pen option. It behaves natural like the real thing. Very appropriate.

The new recent apps button needs getting used to. I just complain that I need to reach up to the upper right corner to get options, unlike with on the lower left capacitive button next to the home button. I don't particularly like this new setup as the recent apps could be called on with a long press of the home button, and the options button is right where it is on the Note 3.

After seeing Josh's Note 4 fingerprint scanner review, it's more reliable than I thought. I would not mind using this as a quick unlock.

I tested this with a page of my A4 notebook. Not bad. This is the one thing I want so I'm able to do diagrams with text on my notebook and just manipulate them for presentations.

There's no doubt that the screen of the Note 4 is totally eye-popping with its brilliance. I forgot it was higher in pixels now for the first few minutes of my testing. Hence my argument you really can't see the pixel difference even with the Note 3's just 1080p. The QHD resolution would benefit the VR accessory, but I don't see myself buying that.

The metal frame of the Note 4 is a nice touch, I've been using my Note 3 with an easy removable $10 metal frame as a minimal protection. The Note 4 demo unit had it's metal frame colored white - which I fear can get scratched out. I don't know how that will then out in time.

Overall, the Note 4 is a wonderful device and a great upgrade for people coming from the Note 2, or someone getting a Note for the first time. I'm still processing whether to really get this as the Note 3 is a very good device, and the Note 4's new stuff aren't totally reeling me in. It's priced $850 at the moment.

I even tried digging into the gap. Really nothing. Can you for a piece of paper? Very hardly - too shallow to even hold one in.

The gap problem is not real! I dare anyone showing us otherwise.

OK, I finally bought the note 4 white w/ exynos version from Gsmnation for $800usd. Its the cheapest price I have seen so I couldnt wait. I have no idea why I got upgrade-itis, but the phone seemed so attractive.
I am extremely satisfied with the blue version S5 and when I test drive the N910u I will post my opinion. I wish the note had the blue color available. I will have to sell one of them so we will see which one stays in my pocket.

Price is too high, I'm waiting for Nexus 6 with Android L. Don't have to deal with Samsung updates. Have been a Note user since Note 2, but times have changed and Sammy is still charging a premium price for a device that won't be any better than the competition.

Guys i have just this phone 2 days back before this i was using note 3,Trust me people its an awesome phone screen is brilliant very sharp even at 100% zoom camera is good OIS works nice battery is good in moderate use goes till 1.5 days and fast charging features works brilliant i m octa core version its blaZing fast vth games n ner using i am a good user of multitasking its very easy to use.. this note 4 is a monster good work samgung keep it up i love u guys..

Guys, anybody bought Exynos version n Europe, maybe discrimination again, snapdragon is inferior, plus everybody should see that a gap exist between screen and bezel, where a credit card can be swiped, this is first batch, it will definitely have it, either side, tell the shop owner if it comes out, has to be returned. Be aware of this manufacturer fault. Don't buy until second batch is released, and price stabilized on 600$

From may month im waiting t... moreMotorola prouve all this companies wrong the Moto X 2014 high end cost $450 to $500 and perform like all this high end devices while the Note 4 is more than $700 for what just a pen and some software that making the device hard to get the lastest android version as quick as possible.

I used to love the Note series for big screen but now a mid-range phone like Moto G 2014 got 5 inch and out of the box with the latest android version and in no time 14 days was for the original Moto G to get the update and that is going to be the most wanted android L. So thanks Motorola the Moto G 2014 cost almost 4 times less than the Galaxy Note 4 but it will run the lastest android L before the High end phone like this.

Samsung must make phones with Bada OS with all those pen and heavy softwares on UI and let android free and well optimized on they best hardware Samsung have.
