Not... moreAs a current Note 3 user, I'm extremely envious with the new S Pen software upgrades, like taking a picture of a page you wrote, converting them into lines that can be editable. That's powerful to me. It's not just an image but the words and lines become individual objects in a white background. I still keep an A4 notebook for sketching and jotting.
Other than that, I don't see the extra money spent on the higher resolution as 1080p is already overkill for a 5.7" screen. You can always buy a metal bumper for the plastic sides.
Samsung did a good job with the Note 3, but they did add new stuff to the Note 4 like fingerprint scanner and heartbeat sensor - which I personally don't see much use. I wish they made the Note Edge as the standard Note 4.

It's just a super sized iPhone 5s that does the same stuff. That "Retina" is just a 1080p IPS screen we've enjoyed for over a year now. Apple knows you will not know the difference and just stamped in a "Retina" label to fool the fans.

It has lots more tools including a voice reader. I'm especially using this app as I'm in the middle of my post graduate studies. No excuse not to be able to "read" even while commuting.
I can simply get through "reading" a 200-paged thesis paper within 4 hours thoroughly and highlight the most important sentences. The voice reading really is accurate, and make you concentrate about the topic while you pause to take note by highlighting a passage or two. Writing with the S Pen is really much more accurate than a finger point or a rubber nosed stylus.
The trolls who say it's useless don't know what they're talking about, and the Galaxy Note can't be beaten with the functions of its S Pen.

Passport User, 11 Oct 2014Blackberry Passport is far better than this stone. Why so m... moreBB is dead. You are but a handful of people just holding on. If Passport had only a digitizer, then I could consider it. Otherwise no point having something that I can't use for jotting notes, sketching diagrams or annotations. I think any executive position who would want to be thinking creatively would use the S Pen to plan stuff.

UI is better, very fast, nice and modern
And the speaker is very good and super loud
But still too large and heavy.
How about a "mini" Note 4 with 4.8 inches screen ?
Because Alpha is nice but has no memory card, and no removable battery.

Blackberry Passport is far better than this stone. Why so many octa and quad core no wonder why Note3 hangs a lot which I got away with it. And I bought blackberry Q5 and Passport. BlackBerry 10 OS is smooth and fast it competes with the mighty iPhone. As for android ill never use it again. My Q5 last two full days including my Passport.
