Always had Iphone but changed to Samsung (s5) recenly. It was a very good move indeed. Look at the feedback on the Iphone 6! Might even consider the Note 4 when its out.

The 16GB iphone 6 is $869 up to the 128GB iphone 6+ at AU$1249.
Based on past experience with the previous notes, you will be able to get the GN4 for about AU$700-$750 after 3-4 weeks.

After setting up SMS backup for my wifes crappy Galaxy W in a few minutes and it worked spectacularly well first go, I was put-off iPhones forever.

They're still a high end brand BUT much more expensive than Samsung and other Android devices. Apple is a dying breed.

suggestion can samsung comes out with commercial industries standard apdapter to connect to RS232,external ethernet adapter and DOS base command prompt in their phone. For Technicians to trouble shoot problem on network issue and Security Alarm Industries tech.Instead of carring big bulky laptop. Just a suggestion.
