Not bad. Good specs overall, but nothing extraordinary. Its making evolutionary advances, but people were expecting revolutionary changes. Yes, the lack of IP certification is a downer, but in the end, anyone upgrading from a Note, Note 2 or other device might find it worthy. Note 3 users might just upgrade for the 'zomg fing3rzpr1ntz kekekekekekeke'.
Im a note 2 user and see no value in upgrading. Here's to waiting another year. Have fun folks.

People will ask note5 to add tea maker, washing machine , table fan , even a mini rocket 🚀 launcher in note 5
Plz who are looking for dust &water resistance plz go with other brand in market you got some phone which can full fill your requirements

Overall it's a nice upgrade, however the lack of water and dust resistance as well as no upgrade to battery is disappointing.
Also the lack of water and dust resistance doesn't seem to be the result of the S Pen, but because they market it to different customers.

2ND to the people saying that it's not waterproof ...its only splash proof nothing more. ..and yes let me remind you all that it has a metal frame lol

This phone doesn't have nothing new:
-no holographic image display;
-no teleportation port;
-no warp processor;
-no artificial inteligence operating system;
-no ice cream machine!!!

Samsung only way to recovery from this is to drop price rapidly after lunch. Start where you want but within 3 months it should be 400 us dollars.
