Samsung has embarked on a specs race but not a software race. So what about this device when there is nothing really worthwhile on the software front - what you say, better games and photos. Is that all there is to the mobile race. Why bother to buy it?

Before the release, I thought they would not impress people, like when the s5 was released. However, I am really excited for the note 4. I believe that they focused on the right things to improve. As a phone calles note 4, improvements should of course be on the way people take note. They did the great job adding new features to the s pen that would finally make it useful for everyone. A good camera is also one of the strong points of the note 4. Battery life is greatly improved, which is unexpected since the phone has a QHD screen. Overall, it is a very good phone but to switch from note 3 to note 4 is actually not necessary if you are actually already satisfied with the note 3.

sk, 03 Sep 2014LG G3 still beats it better specs Explain to me what specs are better on the G3? Every single spec on it is the same or lesser except for the slightly larger camera aperture and it has dual flash.
So how exactly is the G3 a better device?

What a crap. Why they even bother to release those new Note. Almost same specs every time.

As a company, we have recently abandoned Samsung mobiles – way too many work hours spent trying to get even warranty repairs done; verified billing for repair of non-existent damage; the “don’t give a rat’s” attitude of Samsung management to identified serious problems… they just don’t listen any more.

I have to say that I really don’t think we’re missing much with the Note 4, or even the Edge. As with the S5, there is nothing there I personally want to be wed to in a 2 year contract. Great screen; useful energy saving mode; metal edge but still no metal back; no waterproofing; no FM radio for events; no folding screens; will 64 GB of memory and only 3GB or RAM will be enough for the next 2 years?

There just isn’t enough here to make me wish we’d stayed, and probably nothing that is going to recapture market share. A real shame in some ways.

Note 2 is the best , better design then note 3 and 4 , still usb 2.0 like note 4 ,it also does support M-SD card up to 64 GB :), have build in FM-radio, better battery performance then note 3 and 4 , and its still very fast and enough for all android application , and still upgrade able to latest android os (thanks to xda developer for the support), new note 4 is a unnecessary shame device :( , disappointed :(

                            What a change over?
First of all, Am a Samsung galaxy lover till now i used galaxy s, s2,note 1, note 2,in between i had a Sony Ericsson arc for about 6 months,
People who don't know what Samsung is I'll explain here
My galaxy s and s2 lagged so badly as well as heat issues, later on from note 1 i never faced the lagging issue as well as heating , but the problem is the paint on bezel strip off and it makes the phone looks cheaper, now Samsung introduced metal into their phones it's awesome, i see most of the people are complaining about heat and lagging issues which i never felt from note 1,even though am a hardcore mobile gamer,i regularly task clearing, cache cleaning, switching off the phone once in a day clearing the dust in pores are the things i do often, used my cousins htc one for a month and i say you will hate it if you were using Samsung before you know why cuz it heats up pretty soon even if you watch videos, the phone temperature will back to normal after a while cuz of the all aluminium body it holds the heat for long, i accept Samsung phone get hot while playing games but once you quit it ll be back to normal temperature very soon, Samsung wisely introduced metal chassis for the phone it's awesome

What annoys me is that its the highest specced phone out there and people try and act all high and mighty and knock it down because they want to look like they are something special

Roughly speaking it is a dissapointment. I do like water and dust proof; it does look better than Note 3, but overall why would I spend almost twice as much for the same phone (it was forced out into market way too early) and honestly, performance wise - everything built into this phone is software based... worse battery / same mah and qHD will not fly good together... nothing new, nothing exciting... What is even worse is that Apple iPhone 6 comes out soon - and it will suck even more... and to top everything off - google will announce Nexus X made by Motorola... is the market really getting THIS BAD OR WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!
