My plan was to switch from Note 1 to Z3... But seems Z3 is not the evolution I was expecting, so maybe I will stay with Samsung and Note 4.
I want it to have FM radio (although to be honest I heard radio very rarely) and want it to be waterproof.

Android phones are not lagging. Android phones have come a LONG way and passed an Apple phone quite a while ago. Reason iPhone does not lag is that mandatory transitions are simply set at ONE SPEED and that is it. That would be like, here is the car, and your max speed limit is 55mph... no more... only less... so there is your iphone that does not lag.
Also, what is very important is that you purchase an Android phone that is a top tier phone and then compare it. If you take Nexus 5 Google Play Edition that you should consider an Android phone... anything else may have a bloatware from your carrier and it really kills the Android Experience.
Galaxy Note series - that is SOMETHING!!!
