Just got note 8 and i am using it ryt now :)
PROS: fast and an all in one device, if your movies, reading, games, sketching, drawing, some of the other things i have not played around yet.
Screen is actually ok, i do not see any pixels if you have retina or amoled you can see the difference however it is fine for me,
battery last for at least 6hrs on full internet, downloading, and games.
sound could be better.
In general it is worth it for its price.
Cons:
A bit large for my hands it is hard to grasp. Subjective though.

The screen is brilliant, power can give you at least 7 hours of screen on use. What other Android tablet class can give you a Wacom digitizer, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, phone functions and an expansion slot for up to 64GB of memory? I think the price is quite justified for the most powerful tablet right now.

my main usage is reading PDF files, i have an iPad mini and i plan to switch to note 8, due to the difficulties with file transferring on iPad.
reading PDF files on iPad is really easy and swift, can note 8 give me the same experience?

I love my Galaxy Note 8. Great features like multi-screen, S Note, very fast since it's using quad core. Very functional. Great for business and pleasure.

Seagate offers wifi types that are powered to transfer files wireless for $250 with 500GB capacity without you having to root. Half that amount now gives you a regular hard disk with 2TB capacity .

can anyone help me regarding the screen
I can see it is IPS TFT capactive touch, is the the same as TFT capactive touch?
the problem that I have already motorlla Xoom which has normal TFT capactive touch and so when you stay in front of screen for more that two hours , you feel like dazzy or you eyes is not clear,
so do you feel the same with note 8 if you set for more thn 2 or 3 hours?
appreciate really any replay
