I have both phones since last year, Note FE since July 2017 and the Note8 since October 2017 and neither of these phones has such problems you mentioned in your post. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Neither Note7, nor S7/S7e feature HDMI output. Samsung ditched MHL on the 7-flagship series and didn't yet include DeX support.

I am a happy user of note fe but get tempted to note 8 if see someone using it. Recently saw lots of people selling note 8 with black dot problems on screen.
should i worry about it or keep using note fe for now?

A great phone to have an unboxing experience, and that's that.
Poor build quality trademark unique to Samsung.
LG | SONY | APPLE | HUAWEI are better in build quality. Rise up Samsung!

Very good phone, can be bought for 400 euro or cheaper brand new. The price of 600 euro on gsmarena is incorrect. My Note FE is running the Microsoft launcher.

Just bought a Note FE for SR 1049 in Saudi Arabia ($279) and it's a really great price for a device with these specs. It's priced like mid rangers but beats them in everything except battery life but that's understandable.
But display, camera, features, build and speed are in the FE's favor plus I really enjoy playing with the S Pen. Updated it to latest 8.0 and smooth sailing so far.

However, it also depends on do you prefer Samsung Experience or Huawei's EMUI. Because I use the S9+ right now, I would go for the Note FE but I'm biased. But if you want something under 14000MYR, I think Huawei will be better.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2018Samsung FE o hawaui mate 10 pro? I think it's better to buy the mate 10 pro since emui is more optimize than samsung's ui. I watch some reviewer said that the battery life is very good. for me poor battery is a deal breaker cuz I like to play games on my phone

Law, 17 Nov 2018Hey everyone, it's gonna be a long detailed review from me,... moreI have this phone for almost 2 years now. I love it! Perfect size for me. May not look as good as Note 8 or 9 but I prefer the size of this one. I don't play games here but use it more as a business phone. Used it more for notes, emails and I use it alot when I am travelling.
Camera is also quite good.
Though I would really like the s pen as a remote😁 will have to wait and decide until this phone is not useable for me anymore.
