May not look as good as Note 8 or 9 but I prefer the size of this one. I don't play games here but use it more as a business phone. Used it more for notes, emails and I use it alot when I am travelling.
          Camera is also quite good.
          Though I would really like the s pen as a remote😁 will have to wait and decide until this phone is not useable for me anymore.

              -crippled USB-C: NoteFE doesnt support HDMI over USB-C. Only way to is to stream via wifi.

                    Hey everyone, it's gonna be a long detailed review from me, i don't really know if anyone interested in this phone, but seeing that there is actually a lack of interest from reviewer to get in depth with this phone, i decided to take this matter to my own hand.

                    Brief summary and My Final Judgement (For one who hates reading longer review) :
                    The Note 9 is the best Note series in everything, but the Note FE is the best modern Note you can buy for the price. It is Note 8 without newer processor,bezel-less displays, bixby voice, several software, dual camera and fingerprint reader at the back. For someone looking for a phone with a pen in a mid tier budget, then this is the phone. Even if pen is not the main thing and you just want to look at mid tier phone, it still worth a look as well.

                    The PROS are :
                    + It has the S pen
                    One of the differentiating features between a Note series and regular phone is the S pen. The one who is willing to spend more time with it knows that it isn't just for drawing random things at the unlock screen. As a student, around half of my notes now are done within the samsung notes and pdf reader (mine with adobe acrobat). It really saves alot of paper because i can print many things into just one single paper. Other than that, i can draw inside within penup app and sketchbook.
                    + The camera
                    The single rear camera still stands out when you compare it with some flagships, let alone newer low/mid-tier phone. But honestly newer flagships would outperform this by miles too. The camera is quite capable for zooming in whiteboards from some distance (around 15-20 ft is still acceptable) but any second zooming camera would help it better. For a general situation i think it's still good and capable.
                    + The display is an eye candy.
                    Capable of HDR and Quad HD resolution means film streaming is nice. Not to mention it is an OLED, meaning colors are great while saving batteries too.
                    + RAM management is great.
                    Forget the 10GB RAM gimmick installed in newer gaming phone. With just 4GB, Note FE seems well holding on for even higher demands in android apps nowadays, so i think you don't need to judge it by its RAM amount.
                    + The processing unit is quite stellar for an ex-flagship.
                    Holding on a respectable score of 140-170k in Antutu, meaning it's a little bit above newer mid-tier phone and just shy a bit when compared to phones with snapdragon 835. Decent gaming performance is guaranteed too, you can throw anything from heavy game like Fortnite, PUBG, AoV, RR3 without issues and enjoy casual games as well.
                    + Heartbeat and SpO2 sensor
                    It is quite a gimmick for a normal user, but can be useful if you likes to do sport activites and wants to track your heartbeat easily.
                    + Headphone Jack
                    I nearly forgot about this, the jack isn't as great as LG V series with quad DAC and bla bla but no matter what, i still prefer anything with a headphone jack because wireless audio still lags behind wired audio and mostly equipment in my studio is still wired. For one that doesn't really bothered with the loss of headphone jack, it is still a nice addition
                    + USB C 3.1+Fast charging
                    USB C means you can find the cable easily because most android and some newer laptop has this port too, so there is actually alot of demand for USB C. USB C can be used easily to project with something like HDMI too. The 3.1 version of USB C means it can transfer data fast. Fast charging is included with the charger, and with a 15 minutes charger it can last at least an hour or two.
                    + Clear view cover included in the box
                    You dont really need to buy additional case for this particular phone because they shipped it inside. Clear view cover also means you can look at the clock even if it is closed with the cover if you activate the Always on Display. Mind you if you already have the old Note 7 clear view cover and want to put it in your brand new Note FE, it won't work. I do appreciate this kind of generosity :)
                    + IP68 certified
                    Dont worry using this phone in a rain or accidentally put this phone in a water. It is water resistant. You can swim with it too as long as it's not that deep,not taking a lot of time, and you are willing to wait until the water dried after you use it.

                    But the CONS are:
                    - Outdated Design
                    For some people, design is their priority. Sadly this phone is supposed to come out at the time where having thick bezel is okay, when it actually comes out at the time where manufacturer started to think about notches, thinner bezel and even sliding camera to accompany the lack of bezel, this looks like a perennial phone. At least it still has the slick edge display
                    - Annoying edge display
                    This is the irony when i say at least it still has the slick edge display. I hate it because it is just annoying when you do work like drawing and it slides down in the edge display
                    - No ARCore
                    Despite having the exact technologies implemented in S7 (processors and cameras), this thing have no ARCore support. ARCore is an app related to Augmented Reality, for example let's say you're in an IKEA and you wonder what stuff is great for the room, you can just project some stuff with your phone to see if it suits well. I've reached out to Samsung and Google but sadly they don't give any answer.
                    - Crippled Bixby
                    Created before Samsung's obsession with Bixby means this phone have no physical button for bixby and no voice support for Bixby. The Bixby inside is mainly for Bixby home and Bixby Vision. I think if they can add the voice command support for Bixby, Bixby would be more useful in this phone rather than just being a gimmicky home. (There is actually the older S-Voice for voice command but Bixby is still better)
                    - Slightly small battery
                    In an era where everyone steps up their battery count up to 4000-5000mAh, this phone is taking the opposite direction. A safety measure to prevent things like Note 7 is happening again, they decrease the battery to 3200 mAh. Depending on how you use it, typically it can last a day with a more careful usage. But with AOD, location, autosync, wifi, mobile data, bright wallpaper and my typical usage by swiping alot of social media, it can't even last a third of a day.
                    - Face unlock with Iris unlock
                    There's nothing really wrong with it, except your eyes need to be in the right position otherwise it won't unlock. Sometimes it's just a bit frustrating when you know that phone nowadays with face unlock is faster due to no need to be in the right position.
                    - Awkward software things
                    This one is just my observation, and some things may change. First of all, this is a Samsung phone and software update isn't the fastest when it comes to every Samsung Phone. Not to mention they usually only give twice major update unlike Google and Apple which gives four. Secondly, this is a phone that comes from a disastrous phone that made Samsung itself want to forgot it existence. For example they announce samsung exclusivity for Fortnite, this phone isn't exist in the list of the phone. There are newer devices like obviously the Note 9, S9, up to the older one like S7 but no mention of this phone. Strangely when I apply it, it can run fortnite rightaway. Android Update to Pie itself is still in doubt. Unlike S7 which released in Marshmallow, it is acceptable that it would end in Oreo but Note FE launched in Nougat. And when you look at websites searching for samsung phones that will get update to Pie, no mention about this one until this time. Recently Wi-fi Alliance has approved this phone for Wi-fi Standard for Pie Update, so will this phone really get the Pie? I still have doubt but i can only hope so because samsung phones mostly got at least two update.

                    Price consideration and competition :
                    The other thing to consider is the price. When i bought the phone back in january, it was 7.5 million rupiah (with current currencies it is 513 USD). Nowadays you can pick it new from 4.5 millioin rupiah (308 USD). It is a quite steep price fall for just 10 months but it is expected. The other phones you would look for alternative at this price point is Samsung S7, A8, A7 2018, Xiaomi Pocophone F1, Nokia 8, Xperia XZ Premium, Asus Zenfone 5. Another budget new phone sporting a pen is LG Q8 2018.

                      Samsung decided to make this just a Korean thing because they did not want another battery issue with this phone. The battery is a bit smaller but other than that, this is actually the last Samsung with an actual home button. Plus, this phone came out right after they imported the Blue Coral over to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It's a really nice colour, so props to Samsung for their amazing colours

                                The auto focus of the camera has been slightly slowing down, sometime I have to tap to focus.
