        To all :
Please do not update / upgrade your N7100's firmware until the official release of 4.4.2. It is a utter wastage if internet bandwidth. Sick. I really got fed up of the shameless samsung and will never buy samsung phone again. Damn it.

Update is failed even if the phone is connected and internet is active. It downloaded full file (1.2 GB size in the temp files folder in my laptop) and at last the KIES reported that it could not recognize my phone. My phone is working normally. But this really wasted my internet connection's bandwidth.

I am waiting for Nokia's android phone (normady). It should blow off the other android phone companies' market by providing longest battery standby time at the same time providing user replaceable battery (not like the lumias).

It will be just version upgradation, no major changes we'll notice.
And more over initial builds of kitkat from Samsung will be of lot of bugs, later they keep releasing the updates as they doing now for 4.3.

The updated started and said that there is no enough space for the installation to proceed. From this itself I have concluded that the update size is 1.2 GB and it expands to as large as 4 GB (in the laptop hard disk) when installing in the phone.

Then I diverted the TEMP FILES path (in the environment variables) in Windows XP and not proceeding tiwh the update.

Till now, the update size (when I checked the xxx.TMP file's size in the LAPTOP's TEMP FILES folder) file is 1 GB at 59%. I think the total size must be 1.8 GB or 2 GB.

To all Indian users (mobiles bought in India) :

This N7100 device is getting the 3rd large update (only via KIES version 3.xx) after upgrading to 4.3. May be kit kat. I will post as soon as update gets finished and installed.

These are the updates that I have got after upgrading to 4.3 :
                                        >> 1st update : 14 MB (I think for longer standby time)

                                        >> 2nd update : 1.2 GB (reason not known)

                                        >> 3rd update (today 11th February 2014) - may be 1.2 GB and predicted to be kitkat.
