AnonD-2665, 07 Jan 2014symbian doesn't include complicated things like android ! I... moreTo Mrooney and gitty only :
Symbian is capable of running even in low end handsets. It is good that Symbian did not support multi core processors. This is the main reason for good, rocking battery backup of Symbian phones (including Samsung I8910).
But users complain of even high end android phones lagging / hanging. What do you say for this?. You are saying as if none of the android phone has huung in this world. It is wrong.
I physically experienced the major differences between android and Symbian o/s :
> No FM transmitter in any android phone.
> We cannot adjust display brighness in Symbian phone
> Battery drains fast in android phones (even in single core based phones).
> Symbian phones give long battery backup.
> Browsing interface in most of the android phones is rocking.
> Symbian phones hang or slow down when desktop website is viewed.
> No folder messaging is available in android
> Folder messaging is available in Symbian.
I can't accept the fact that Symbian not suitable for multi tasking.

only os runs smooth on limited hardware doesn't require quad core gimmicks
Symbian belle most functional os on touch devices beats every droids with 1200mah vs 3100mah battery backup
search on google which os is virus prone google itself shows android
apps r gud decent with great great battery life
android
cant beat Symbian in true multitasking my nokia 6630 which I bougth in 2006 beats every droid with3 gb ram quad core in multitasking Im talking about 2006 lolz where was android in 2006
ppl buy droids after that they r worried about latest uupdates where as in nokia days every fone has there individual roms everyfone was updated but now not everyfone was updated

guri bains, 07 Jan 2014Symbian is way efficient than any os in whole universe Sym... moreIt is atleast better than having no better hd games at all... btw note2 and note3 is not just a better gaming devices but they r much more than that .2gb on note2 and 3gb Ram on note3 Is really helpfull for mutitasking ...like split screen, mutiple apps opened at the same time etc even lg copied the idea and named it diffrently and gave it on there flagship phones if u go through the lg ui u wud find there r lots of touchwiz features they have copied from samsung and yes playing hd games a lot has to pay its price through slightly high battery drain ..which according to me is fair.cause i play only 1 to 2 hours max a day and i can still spend the entire day with normal usage like browsing, BT music streaming etc without charging the phone

NikiDroid, 07 Jan 2014I would hope if Note II gets KitKat upgrade that will perfo... moreYes You are Right Dear .
Update is not always Good , before note II i had Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S , Last Phone from Sony Ericsson
No doubt Arc S was Great handset in terms of Camera , Looks , design and Display.
Originally Arc S has Gingerbread 2.3 ,Sony Roll out ICS 4.0.4 update for Arc S , that was the worst update from Sony.I Updated my arc S to ICS and experienced too much Lag.Although Arc S has 512MB (330MB user Accessible), but that update was not a stable release from Sony .One more thing , i used almost 15 Roms on My Arc S :D because i rooted my arc S & Unlocked its boot loader. ICS is not a Good Android Version , i have almost 10 Android Smartphones ,IMO JB & GB are the best. Note II is high end Smartphone .Having Quadcore 1.6GHZ Processor with 2GB Ram , so i hope Kitkat will work well on Note II !
