I have only received 2 updates so far(one is 700mb and the other is 14mb)Did anyone receive the 1.2gb update ..

Just chill Guys the upgrades r always better they come with lots of improvements and new features ( but still dont know why they decided to not give air command etc features of note3 on note2 even when the note2 hardware is compitable expecting these features on 4.4 upgrade otherwise i will have to try diffrent roms which i really hate to do.) However .there r highly paid developers samsung have to test any new google firmware and modify it for note2 s4 s3 etc i know some time they mess up but they correct it as well..making 4.3 or 4.4 ROM,S with touchwiz skin on top of it for so many devices is no joke samsung devs r not like any devs on xda where most of them make Rom's for passion or hobbies..samsung devs have proper management and they have to be perfect as they r getting paid nicely where as the xda devs dont ...its just that u have to be a little patient ..however compaired to other brands samsung updates there flagship devices faster.

- Released in very expensive price doesn't say has Corning Gorilla Glass
- Doesn't be made for 32 GB / 64 GB memory only for all countries. My country has 16 GB memory only

It's confirmed by samsung and many others since kitkat is an improvement to jelly bean and it runs smoothly by using less memory. We just have to wait but by the end of the year most note 2 and s3 will run kitkat.

Every upgrade is cheating the customers in the name of performance tweaks, better battery backup and memory management etc. But all are false and no improvement.
It is just wasting the customers' data bandwidth (700 MB upgrade to 4.3, then 14 MB update within 4.3 then 1.2 GB update.
To all :
If you are experiencing any improvement in 4.3 (after moving from 4.1.2), then keep 4.3 itself. Then why are you planning to upgrade to 4.4 in the future?.

As my experience using Galaxy Ace 2 I8160, I upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 official in Samsung Service Center, it experienced so many lags, and very bad lag (almost can't be stopped) streaming YouTube. Several people said the hardware of Galaxy Ace 2 (maybe because chipset NovaThor) is not designed well for Jelly Bean 4.1.2 . In my opinion, if its hardware is not designed for Jelly Bean 4.1.2 in order to run smoothly, why Samsung gave it, better stay in Gingerbread. Before I used Galaxy Ace 2, I used Xperia mini, upgraded to ICS 4.0.4, the condition was the same too, many lags. Upgraded version of OS doesn't always make the phone better in performance. But, Galaxy Note II is high end smartphone, hopefully if it gets KitKat 4.4, its performance won't disappoint me.

so Note II will be definitely in the List of Upcoming Kitkat Update !

If your phone is 14 month used..then performance of the set is not as good as new phone. .like mine just 3 months used... :) good to know that you are coming to Sammy world again :)

Yes you are right...Nokia have to come back to symbian OS...do some good changes ..symbian was very good OS in terms of battery life and software support. .
