My device (India) got a massive, useless 1.2 GB unknown update via KIES 3.xx.xxx on 28th December 2013. It took 8.5 hours to download on a 512 Kbps stable broadband.

It got installed on 29th Dec 2013 at 02:30 AM Indian time.

Before my device got 14 MB unknown update (after upgrading to 4.3).

So after getting 4.3 :
1) 14 MB update
2) 1.2 GB massive useless update.

Battery has improved only a bit. Looks like samsung has gone mad providing 1.2 GB update.

      I am from India I received 62MB today 29th December 2013 no changes
      just improve battery standby. Bug fixes.

        My Note II N7100 running in Jelly Bean 4.3, so far is good, no bad problems. About ePSXe, I had reinstalled it, use version 1.9.11, works very good.

          Is it possible to downgrade from 4.3 to 4.1.3? I am very unhappy with 4.3 and I hate my phone now. Sometime change is NOT good.

Yesterday on 22.00 PM, it was 100% fully charged, used it a little and left in standby I was slept. Right now it is 46%. The screen detail is 2h 2m 17s.

I want to advice everyone who u... moreYes the stand by time as increased a lot ...on phone arna website just check the battery comparision of note3 .note2 battery endurence is more than note3 however the screen on note3 is 1080p + it needs to run all those fancy specs and features ...so i do not want to say that note2 is better than note3 but note2 has almost every feature that i need in my phone and it lasts really longer since 4.3 update its even better than b4 and i do find myself using my spare battery very seldom...so enjoy note2...guys...

I like to decorate phone with different themes, icons, hd n live wallpapers ! once I had nova launcher but I didn't like it and application drawer background on nova is always black, I didn't like that so I uninstalled nova launcher ! I don't like look and ui of touchwiz !

                            Furthermore After upgrade,I used my note 2 for 2 days without reset.battery timing was not very good...After factory reset.now battery timing is same like it was on 4.12. Now I am satisfied with jelly bean 4.3 :)

                              Further more After upgrade, I used my note 2 for 2 days without reseting. ..battery timing was not very good...After reseting phone. .now battery timing is same like it was on 4.12
                              So if you upgrade your phone then after upgrading must do a factory reset :)

                                  Hey guys hope you're fine . I want to advice everyone who use note 2 how to get best battery backup please do the below :
                                  1. Don't run any 3rd party app for battery
                                  2. Turn off sync option for all accounts and mails
                                  3. Turn off location settings
                                  4. Turn on power saving mode
                                  5. Set brightness to lowest
                                  6. Don't ever clear ram memory
                                  7.Use dark wallpaper
                                  8.Don't use too much widget
                                  9. Put screen time out to minimum
                                  10. Don't turn on motion all the time

                                  I recharged my phone till 100 % yesterday 5.00 pm
                                  And now my battery is 73 % at 5.42 pm
                                  Battery stand 1 day and 42 min and my screen time on is 1 hour and 49 min :)
                                  I got this battey life coz I followed the above
                                  Instructions I'm very happy that my phone lost only 3 % in 10 hours (idle mode )
                                  And anyone have any questions please don't be hesitated :)

                                  P.S am on 4.1.2 jellybean and use nova launcher instead of default one

                                      Can you tell me what is the second update?. I got another update* after the first 14 MB update. Can any one tell what is it?. Is it 4.4 kitkat?.

                                      * means - after upgrading to 4.3 and can be upgraged only via KIES 3.xxx.
