Hey do not say lies.
When kept idle (in flight mode without any background apps running), the battery drains 2% every hour and on heavy usage it drains 3% to 5% every hour !!!.

The battery drains 2% every idle (screen off) hour** in flight mode (without any background apps except antivirus protection running) !!!.
** means - It drains 3 to 5% every hour on heavy usage.
These are approx values. I bought this phone on 21st August evening (Indian time). I am not making you panic.

guys here's the thing...
if you can wait for the release of note 3
which will be launch this september
then i would say that you wait forthat monster
but if you will ask anyone here regarding note 2
we are all satisfied...and i mean bigtime

and also if your buying the new note

Most important things to me is performance and battery
As am Sony user have Xperia S with heavy usage it last for 3 or 4 hours maximum and phone lagging alot
Hope that not happen in note 2 :)

Am going to be buy this phone but am confused between white and grey I prefer white bur I afaid from scratch and its get dirty fast?
Another question am aheavy user : surfing internet, play HD. Games, streaming and watch HD movies how many hours it will last?
Final question for note 2 users what it the main disadvantages of the phone

Strom, 23 Aug 2013Hi guys, Sudden Death Syndrome is fixed now as i am goin... moreitz oly in the version 4.1.1 and not all the mobiles had the prob, it persisted oly in selected ones but, now note come with updated version 4.1.2 sane chip so no prob in buying tis beast, if u still have a confusion wait for note III

Anonymous, 22 Aug 2013Are you using rooted note 2? Yes. The hardware of the Note II is just incredible, and root on Android just make more sense than a jailbroken iOS device.
