So which one do you choose? Whose report are you gonna believe? That from Wikipedia or that from Corning Gorilla themselves?

The others who are trying so hard to make a "phablet" can't even get the concept of why Samsung designed it the way it is.
The original Galaxy Note had almost the same size/proportions as a passport or a Moleskine A6 notebook. It was the first ever to introduce a leather flip cover with a speaker slit that can be integrated as part of its back cover. It was impressively thin 2 years ago. The Wacom digitizer or S Pen is an active (not capacitive) stylus that detects pressure levels, making dynamic thin-thick lines - great for digital sketching.
Samsung has greatly improved on the software and hardware on the Note II. Others may claim that their hardware are better now, but they still didn't get the original concept and the handy Wacom digitizer. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra has only water resistance over the Note II. Its "any stylus" concept only creates a non-dynamic line input. They even got the size wrong with wide bezels to compensate for it being 6mm+ thin as you can't even pocket it like a passport.

is it because of the plastic materials?
well other companies are also using plastic with their phones
so i guess taking your word for it
it is not just samsung whose making cheap phones
with the note 2 specs
its versatility
the convenience it gives
and using titanium (im using titanium so that the note 2 would be hard to break) haha
i guess the note 2 would costs a lot
and i guess samsung is trying to create a high end phone
which can still be afforded by people like us
comparing the note 2 with other phones in its category
you would find it difficult to choose
but take it from us whose using the phone (im always using it with gsmarena)
its fast...more convenient...and more versatile... no hassle

BE CAREFUL ! This is a phone that can die for no reason anytime. The problem is called sudden death syndrom. Just Google it if you don't believe. Mine just died adter 8 months. The warranty is not international so they wouldn't fix it for free. The problem is with the motherboard which cost almost 300 dollars !! Yes three hundreds.
The phone's keyboard is a disaster. Very hard to write correctly if you have thicker fingers (not thick) I had to buy and try all the other keyboards. Bad impression, bad service and totally not recommended. The pen is also useless unless your notes are 2-4 words. It is a marketing product that I hate.
I will make sure to warn everybody not to buy it.
Buy Android but not Samsung !

Does this phone support 64 GB micro SD card (formatted using FAT32 at 4096 bytes per cluster)?.
The card was formatted using FAT32 formatting PC tool in my laptop's card reader.

because it uses the bullet proof glass used by apache helicopters
you can make a test by shooting your phone with a pistol
hahaha.... just kidding
since it was not noted that it has gorilla glass...
what i did is i buy the screen protector since day 1
i have tried the glossy and the matte one
both are doing just fine
the matte screen protector eliminates the smudges
so its all up to you
either you can shoot your phone
or put a screen protector... haha
