Personally i choose the Note 2 because of the battery life and screen. The other lesser advantage is the S-pen.
If the screen isn't a major point for you then the SGS4 is probably the better device.
PS the Note 3 to be announces next month WILL blow the SGS4 away if you can wait that long.

i have heard about that wifi bug with the note 2
i don't know if i have them coz it works perfectly fine

Please guys, is this Note2 really better than S4 as most people claim or are they just saying it because it's the one they own? Can somebody give me a real good answer, if you say yes it's better pls give your reason(s) and if you say S4 is actually better pls give your reasons too. Thanks

Dear Runtime,
It is advised to factory reset your phone before update so new update starts with optimized settings (includes any customization and authorization). It is possible that some software may malfunction or you face battery drain issues.
If you are with wifi and have on backup by Google, once your factory reset and update your NoteII and connects to Wifi and Your Samsung/Google Account, your all the software will be downloaded as it is and you will feel good about it (although it's a heavy download process). Hope this helps you!

Sorry,it will decrease demand of samsung products in India.I like samsung UI but,going to service centre with a new phone?.It is bad.This was my experience with new note 2.

Wh... moreHappened to me, guess what they told me that whole touch panel will be repaired and will cost me 16000INR as it is water logging problem (PS it stopped with in 10 days and they can not prove it ).. i simply refused and took my case to consumer court and they are already negotiating as they know the battery back cover was again faulty and so it again is their manufacturing fault.
to cut short,. Service cneter people will blame you, dont accept the blame, and check ur back cover thoroughly if it makes any squeeking noise then do tell at service center and then u can counter blame samsung for lousy hardware.

Hey guyz,, plz help me to solve this query.
My Note is 5 days old and i want to update to 4.1.2,, but what i need to know is after updating the phone to 4.1.2, IS FACTORY RESET NECESSARY to remove old files????
Near my place few guyzz suggested to go for a factory reset after update!!
Is that necessary??
If yes, pls explain....
