Note 2 glass is so fragile and easily break. According to samsung techsupport, this is normal due to the larger screen. If they know it's easily break, they should come with workaround instead of denying it's a product defect. I had use many brand of phone and this is first time I encountered broken glass - where the phone drop to ground at knee height and it has wallet wrapping it. I had samsung galaxy S2 and it survived numerous drops and the new note 2 only lasts for a single accident.
When it comes to repair, the cost of glass is half of price of new phone. What are samsung trying to sell to consumer? A smart phone or fragile glass?
Unless you have extra money to replace it every time you drop the phone, else avoid at all cost.

see... more4GB of the memory is taken by the system. and a portion of it is taken up by the file operating system. so if you have 10+ GB showing on the device that is the 16GB Note 2

lasi, 05 Jun 2013this 4n can only 160 spelling for 1 msg.160*3 msg maximam.I... moreits a limitation for all the androids ... Go to play store and download an app named gosms Pro its a free app .. be least assured and send out text msgs as long as u want .. its a free app though ..

Hi, I was looking for a way to increase brightness beyond stock maximum brightness and found this small tweak that does it. The tweak is made by xda developers and it is helpful for better sunlight legibility.
Maybe you already have it but I found it to be helpful so I am sharing (just download and install):

You can see the difference when: auto brightness is disabled - brightness is set to the max and click the “a brighter note” icon (I suggest you put the icon on home screen).
Reboot disables it.
Selecting auto brightness disables it.

see... moreBlame Samsung. These FOOLS think that having 10GB of useable space for apps is acceptable now days.
If they aren't going to bring out 32GB+ devices in a timely manner they should allow apps to be moved to the SD card like the old note and SGS2.

hi Note 2 user, could someone tell that will note 2 would be updated to Jelly Bean v4.2.2?? i cant decide between note 2 and S4. i like note 2 but if its not getting update for Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)i wont go for it, i will buy S4, please advise.

Rishav, 17 May 2013@Aniket Razor bro i am from kolkata.There has a lte of airtel. @Rishav. I'm from kolkata too and the Airtel 4G your saying is yet to be launched here. They haven't even got their 3G network to have 100% coverage here. Furthermore, Samsung themselves don't retail the N7105 here because 4G is not available here and they are not going to go on Airtel's word about launching 4G "soon"

I m from Myanmar. I bought Note2 from china. I try to install Goggle application and Germany Rom than I can't make call. the phone show not register network. Some of my friend suggest try to reinstall Chinese Rom again. Please suggest how to get repair for call.

I think that your computer is not able to handle the 1080p resolution that is being recorded by the Note 2. Try to lower the resolution to 720p video recording and playing on your PC.

The battery stamina of the Note II is simply outstanding with my abusing the unlimited data plan I have to download torrents and a charge can last me more than 12 hours. I just change batteries before heading home. The changeable battery is still a practical feature.
I hope Samsung doesn't take that out for the Note III for the sake of making the device depth thinner, as I find it hard to survive with the Note 8's non-removable battery. I wouldn't want to be like the Sony Xperia Z users where they need to keep their device to a minimum usage, keeping all updates off just to survive through the day with one charge since they can't change to fresh batteries.
