As an avi... moreI have tested the Note II's battery capacities with different settings. With the brightness at full, with internet downloading ongoing and surfing the internet with almost all white screen (ouch) it averages 51 to 52 minutes for every 10% This just translates that it could go at around 8.5 hours with these extreme conditions relying only with the battery.
This is also with full CPU unrestricted speed of 1600mhz.
I have yet to do a test with 3D games like NOVA to see how it fares under those conditions. The Samsung designers/engineers must have done something right with this device.

As an avi... moreFull HD would be nice... the impression stops there. The non-removable battery, no card expansion and no S Pen are big setbacks for me. They should stop and do a leap in innovation like for the Note series and not just trickle innovative technology. Even if it could match the Note II's 11-12 hours of continuous productive internet connection (I highly doubt it) per charge, then just dies till you charge it.
Already full HD screened smartphones are having trouble with their batteries lasting under 10 hours as initial reviews go. I always download heavily and the card slot can give me the space. And how can we stop having the S Pen as a useful tool for input?

Check out the specs of the LG Optimus G Pro...
As an avid Note 2 fan i will still admit that the G pro probably has it beat... until the note 3 comes.
Love the bezel... the screen of the Note 2 in a SGS3 body.
Only downside is no card slot and no Spen.

AnonD-61530, 18 Feb 2013You might just get a job as Q in the next Bond film. :-)Nah, I was thinking about how good the Commuter case was but had no kickstand. Saw that TPU case with the kickstand at the Cellboy store yesterday and my mind just went wild with this idea. Stayed up till 1 am to finish it. It doesn't compromise the thickness and the kickstand remains tucked in without bumping out.

Here's something for those who would like to modify your Otterbox Commuter case for the SG Note II. I managed to incorporate a useful kickstand with the case without the kickstand protruding when folded. Head over to the thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2153383
There's a video link I made of the finished modified case there.

I have the HS3000 which is stereo with remote capabilities. Not everyone would be using bluetooth earpieces anyway.
There's an S Pen with built-in earpiece + microphone for calls. I hope to however see a Samsung S Watch that is way better than the Sony's. Even better is that becomes a detachable earpiece + microphone for calls and message alerts.
