About the earphone, everytime when I place device on the treadmill machine while jogging, after 10minutes or 5 minutes sometimes, the volume automatically scroll down from 15 to 0. When using remote volume from earphone or direct device to scroll up it still auto scroll down! Is this model got a auto volume adjust or auto mute or it cant play using earphones for long time? Already change the earphones once and same thing happens again. Pls help. Thks!

AnonD-77443, 27 Jan 2013I agree, I have a Note 2 and Tab 7.7 for movies. I broug... moreAbout tablets/smartphone I think the GT 7.7 is the best size when comes to portability. The reason I did not buy this beauty is because it could not upgrade to JB. That is why I am waiting for the new G Note8. I have been using the GN7 for more than two months now and I love it. I will be buying two to three device in the coming months. My 'collection' includes 5" , 6" and 8". As for the 5" there are so many choices. At the moment there is only one 6" and its the Ascend Mate. And then of course the GNote8.

can i use CDMA sim in this phone ?
        urgent reply

[deleted post]Those aren't missing features. More like essential things you just personally need to download and buy. Not all people will want those premium games that is going to occupy the already limited space.

It is designed to be connected to the Internet so a better network is needed and most probable that they took out the apps what you found in the Note 1 to reduce the bloatware that most are complaining about. Those can't be uninstalled with the unrooted unit. I'd hate apps that I don't use being there.

If Samsung added those accessories like bluetooth earpieces, that premium earphones, leather flip cover, then the whole package would be more expensive. Some people just like using it bare. If anyone can afford the Note II, he/she can afford to get his/her personal accessories, like a $2.50 1.5M USB/micro-USB cable or a $25 extra battery.

pi, 27 Jan 2013hi , guys ,,how long is the charging time for note 2 ... morethe samsung original charger consists of the usb cable and one 2 amp wall charger country dependent 125/240 volts the 3100 mha generally from 15% to full charge 100% can take anywhere 2 1/2 hrs to 2.40.charging it via PC not only o considered it not healthty but it will take long enough to go to dinner a movie nd then some

It'll be usually 50% off once something twice the capacity comes out. I have tons of HD movies and series and I download directly with my Note. I wish they finally bring out the 2TB micro SD. Think of that party!

TheNeighbor, 27 Jan 2013As much as I am anticipating that new 8" Galaxy Note, ... moreIn relation to the Micro SD card sizes.

I don't see much advantage with 128GB unless you have an awful lot of movies, music and photos. I have 64GB and its ample.... plus i can plug my 32GB usb stick in if need be.... i do wish they would allow apps to be stored on the card though.

TheNeighbor, 27 Jan 2013As much as I am anticipating that new 8" Galaxy Note, ... moreI agree,

I have a Note 2 and Tab 7.7 for movies. I brought a Nexus 10 to replace the Tab 7.7 but found it too heavy and large.

I still think the Tab 7.7 is better than the note 8 but might ultimately become redundant if the Note 3 is 6.3" as rumored.

The Note 3 might be the perfect all in one device (assuming its a similar size than the Huawei Mate and a bit thinner) :-)

Derhunter23, 26 Jan 2013Thanks for your info. Really appreciate your reply. BTW I ... moreAs much as I am anticipating that new 8" Galaxy Note, I don't see myself able to use it often. I tried the Galaxy Note 10.1 for an entire day before getting the Note II - I like the bigger screen but the weight, lower camera resolution and I don't carry a backpack are considerations.

You're welcome. I have been researching what is the best type of micro SD card. I wish the 128GB versions are already out.

helopilot, 26 Jan 2013Neighbor i agree securing our notes from thiefs hands sho... moreThe app is interesting. I'll be trying it out and give a review.

For some level of security, I use a Sonyericsson Liveview watch to control music, read emails & social friends status, reply to messages with 15 pre-programmed ones, see who's calling, get news feeds, and change settings, all via bluetooth with the Note II. It's only P1000 now, but I recommend the newer Sony Smartwatch of just under P5k ($120). Only down side is they disconnect sometimes and you now need to manually pair them. I didn't have that problem with Gingerbread.

I have an HTC Chacha (2nd hand) as where I get my main and as a wifi hotspot. I won't cry if that is stolen. This is what I use in the bus or commute van. It has the role of the smoke screen unit. The Note is unseen tucked away in a secret compartment in my carry bag, used to stream music to my stereo bluetooth receiver, downloading torrents at times, and takes in some calls & text.

Needing 2 phones was the reason why I sort of lost interest with the dual SIM Note II. I only maintain 2 SIMs - my really old prepaid (for emergencies & those people who can still contact me there) and the newer unlimited internet postpaid. I think it's a good idea to have service from 2 competing networks in case one system is down. I interchange them between the two devices.

This is a wonderful tool but not worth dying for because some idiot(s) want to take it away from you. Just calmly hand it over. Only use it in safer places.
