[deleted post]All what you can do to restore your phone back is,
You have to pres power button, menu button and Up volume button at the same time and hold them presed till the screen "Note ll GT-N7100" popup then release buttons and with volume buttons up and down chose the text it says something like "reset system...." all apps and data and phone numbers will be erased but not this on simm card!

it has stopped working and when i take the battery point out it only shows Samsung Note II N 7100. when i take the battery point out it show " unfortunatly s.suggest has stopped" pl sugget what has to be done in that case.

Guys having the battery problem probably need to put a new battery.I had those heating issues and draining problem I changed the battery after 1.5 year and I had that original 24 hrs performer back on track. I suggest to change battery if it has completed over 1.5 or 2 years of use.

It has good specs and it can run 5.0 without a problem but they will never release an official update for the phone because of the marketing problems. If it was for all the old phones to receive new software then what is the point on releasing/ buying a new phone?! A new phone always come with new software. So if you want 5.0 buy a new phone

The android 5.0 update has been officially cancelled .. see the final phase info .. now it's written as cancelled .. now we have to stay on 4.4.2 or flash custom roms guys

What wrong with u guys. Note 2 is already too old. Either you have no cash to buy a modern phone or you are clueless on smartphone. I advice u to buy note 4 or stick to your Nokia 3310 and stop writting nosense.

I use silver vinyl and wrap it around the chrome rim. Then, I use hairdryer to stick it in place and use a blade to remove the excess. Plastic melt on plastic like a charm. Everyone should do this if you have this problem.
