Note2 lovers, if you find the rom "Ultra Note2 v1.2" by Austin, not higher version, then download it immediately, bcz is the best from all the rest, it has note3 and s5 features, it's fast it's multiDPI, themes and good battery life, it's so good that you will not want to have any other rom not even lolipop at all.
After you flash the rom then flash the lg keyboard and is perfect, it has lot of languages on it added.

Please ignore the previous post.
This may help.
Resetting the cache may fix it, and it seems to have worked for many and you can also use a heat free phone and has to only charge every 1-3 days.
To reset the cache:
1. Turn off phone
2. Remove and reinsert the battery.
3. Press and hold the Home button , Volume Up key and the Power button simultaneously.
4. As soon as you see the Samsung logo, release all keys/buttons.
5. It will display some options to select.
6. Press on the Volume Down to scroll down to select Wipe Cache Partition.
Press the Power button to select it.
7. Press the Volume down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power Button to select it.
8. Please wait for a few minutes for the phone to clear the data.
9. Once cache partition is cleared,Press the Power button to scroll up and select reboot device.
10.Once the device is rebooted, wait for the battery to drain out completely and then charge the device and check how much time is takes to charge the device.

Which charger are you using for your Note 2. I think there may be an issue with the charger.
I recommend using the HTC desire charger.

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for more than 2 years.
Its a great device when it comes to performance.
There are so many videos on you tube to learn the tricks and great advices.
There may be best customized ROM available for Note 2, especially Lollipop.
Well I am excited to get the Lollipop but will wait for the official one from Samsung.
Themes customization will be an added advantage for Note 2.

My Note 2 after service heat up very fast and charging takes upto 5 hours and then when in hand use it get drain very quickly Battery last only for 4 hours can you tell me what will be the issue I've change the battery and even reboot the handset

Hey Viral,
Hope you have tried doing a Hard Reboot or a factory reset.
Press Up Volume button, home button and power button and it will give you the option to reboot the device and swipe data with factory reset. You can select options using the volume keys.
1. Try rebooting the device.
OR
2. Swipe data with factory reset.

Its a great device when it comes to performance.
How to improve the Battery Usage.
1. Open Settings.
2. Select My device.
3. Select SPen.
4. Select Battery Savings.
If you are not using the Mobile data, Bluetooth, NFC, Motion or any service on your device, just make sure to Turn if off.
Also you may want to press and hold the home button to view the recently open applications. Press the white X on the bottom right to close all the applications.
Pressand hold the home button and this time Press the white circle on the left.
1. Open the active applications Tab.
2. End the active applications.
3. Open RAM.
4. Press Clear Memory.

Its a great device when it comes to performance.
How to improve the performance.
Turn off unwanted services and process.
1. Open Settings.
2. Open More Tab.
3. Open Application Manager.
4. Here you can see list of the downloaded application and widgets with their background process and services.
5. If you have downloaded an application and not using the application, simply in uninstall the application.
6. If you are not using widgets and if the background process is running, simply stop the service.
This will free some space on your device and improve the performance.
Note 2 deserves the 64GB SD Card.

1. Open settings.
2. Open My device Tab.
3. Look for Motion and turn it ON.
4. Open Motion
5. Select Palm swipe to capture.
6. Use the side of your palm take the screenshot.

Yeah it becmes old nw bt still its a powerful device..1.6 ghz quad cortex a9 n 2 gb ram is sufficient to handle any apps or games.i enjoyed gta: san andreas a lot.vey smooth.exynos quad is good for gaming + s pen is also der. Battery lasts 2 days wid norml usage.n nw samsung is planning to upgrade to lollipop lol. Great device.samsungs one of d best.

I have used this phone for 2 years. I loved this phone till recent problems started (may be after an update). The phone used to lose network connection and then it hung. I could not even switch off the phone. Only option was i had to pull out the battery. The service center guy said there's some hardware issue.
Although, i took it very casual, i used to drop the phn very often. May be i will take better care next time..

junu, 21 Feb 2015I am planning to buy note2..wot abt urz opinions users???:-)A great phone,am currently enjoying mine..but honestly,it's a little too long in the tooth to still recommend it to anyone,at this time in its life cycle,go for a Note 3 if you have the finance..
