Battery drain problem completely gone after JB update. Its been over 2 weeks now and I am loving JB on my Note.
No problems at all. Games run more smooth and fast. :D
I just don't like the picture becoming faded in the lock screen. Rest is all great.

Guys I want to say u something... if u r using original rom and kernel then don't expect high battery backup.. If u use custom rom with custom kernel then u will get good battery backup. U guys believe me or not mine battery backup min 2 days with huge call.

after jelly bean update i am not able to make call thru n7000. tried c
hanging the sim also but facing the same issue. it seems that phone got locked. please suggest how to get it solved. did anyone else.is facing the same issue...thanks in advance

Dear Samsung, After updating to Jelly bean 4.1.2 my galaxy note consuming more battery, some times its voice strucks up , how to rectify it,, if no rectification how to go back to ICS, please advice,,,

For All those having 'battery drain after JB update'..
1. Don't panic, wait for new software to adapt to ur phone n d way you use it.
2. From d drop down menu, switch of evrythn- mobile data, wifi, sync, bluetooth, gps etc. when not in use.
3. Download CPU spy from play store. Reset counters, send d phone to standby n check after one minute, CPU should be in 'deep sleep' for at least 90% of time. If not clear all d background processes n check again.. If still not in deep sleep, Restart d phone, it works.
4. Remember, if it is taking unusually long to charge, again check CPU spy. It HAS to be in deep sleep for at least 80% of time.
5. With all above measures my note lasts for 1 & half days wid moderate use. Battery loss per hour is also reduced n it is approx. 1% per hour in standby mode.. Chill everybdy, lets fall in luv wid our note once again!

To all the owners of NOTE!!
PLS use odin,flash with INDIAN JB rom and factory reset the phone twice.
Your NOTE will be butter smooth!!!!
pls search in google how to flash the NOTE,and the zip file to download wll be 720 mb something.
Pls search it and install.
No problem at all after that!!
