hi guys i am having a serious problem with my two month old galaxy note. there is a vertical line appears exact the centre of the display. after sometimes its disappears. i wonder why its happening so. i havr contacted the service people and they are telling its a display complaint and to pay rs8000 to 10000/-to rectify it. also they are telling i wont get the display warrenty. any suggetion from u guy is welcome

Frnds dont wait just update to official Jb german rom. or if u want to root ur device within warranty u co go ahead and root ur device with safe kernal. its just void ur warranty rest nothing harm to ur device.rooting device is just like keeping clothes in othr companies box.

Hi. Still awaiting JB upgrade in the UK for a SIM free Galaxy Note. But just a question for anyone who HAS upgraded to JB... Do you lose the standalone S Memo app, once you have upgraded? I know the S Memo function is within the S Note on the Note 2, but I would prefer to keep it on its own, as I have this as a direct app on my homepage. Seen some comments that S Memo (on its own), is not on the Note 2 and users not happy with this, even though there is S Memo Lite.
Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Gingerbread is good in terms of battery alone. After updating to ics and jb many are facing more battery drain lasts for 12 hours only With heavy usage. OOtherwise jb is awesome in terms of features and smoothness. Though jb is officially not released in india u cn use a software called odin and update to German official jb rom.
If ur device is out of warranty u can root ur device and install custom jb roms with more features

This is what Samsung replied when i mailed them in regard to jb update for galaxy note in India.
