Guys please tell me battery life of note1. Mine it is giving only 6hours without browsing or playing games. Is there any method to increase battery back up. Please reply really i'm fed up.

Although it is said (in this site) that Android 2.3.5 is upgradable to Android 4.1 (for a Samsung Note), when I search for an upgrade all I get is a message saying that an upgrade is not available. Any hints on how that upgrading works?

nikki, 09 Dec 2012I bought galaxy note couple months ago. Everything is force... moreyou got to reset your fone plus purchase a new Samsung note GT N7000 battery....chrge it only max of 3 to 4 hrs a day....not more!! or else you might face problems like this!

Solution for your prob.
Press volume Up + menu key + Power key
Boot your phone
Select the delete cache memory & storage then reboot your phone everything will fine.
I do this when I face this prob.

Hi if u stuck on bootup screen then try to enter recovery mode and wipe data and wipe cache then reboot system and wait for a while to enter to home screen (not try this on official ICS ROMs sometime it may brick your phone) no one is responsible for this action. Bye.

I have heard some security issue on exynos b... moreA Major vulnerability has been found on devices using Exynos 4 SoC and Samsung Kernel sources. The vulnerability was discovered by XDA-Developers’ forum member alephzain. The security flaw is actually in the kernel which makes the device R/W by all users, apps and gives access to full Physical Memory. In short, all Exynos 4 devices come pre-rooted directly from the manufacturers. We can give you one bad news and one good news about this discovery.
The bad news is that any application downloaded from the Google Play Store or installed manually can take FULL control of the device and cause permanent damage, even if the device is not rooted. XDA-Developers’ Elite Recognized Developer Supercurio is already working on an app which can patch this security hole and prevent apps from taking over the device, he will release the app soon on Google Play Store.
The good news is that with this security flaw rooting an Exynos 4 device has just got a lot easier. XDA-Developers’ Elite Recognized Developer Chainfire has already released an app called ExynosAbuse which can root a device with just a single click of a button. Now you don’t have to flash unsecure or pre-rooted kernels through odin/heimdall on your Samsung device, all can be done via an app.
So guys please don't download and install any low rated (unknown developer)apk from google market or manually until samsung release a proper patch. Otherwise your phone will brick permanently or you will lose your secret data. You can use Chainfire's patch but your phone will void warranty and may your phone's camera will brick
